Cruz Bay, Guide Star of Saint John, USVI, Luxury condo, walk to town/ beaches!

This place if wonderful. We loved everything about the condo. The location is perfect for walking into town without having to concern yourself with parking. We will definitely be back. Tip - the entrance does not state the name or any other obvious clue to the correct entrance. Make sure you google map the area so that when you arrive you are at least semi oriented. This is not a knock on the booking at all, it is just the way the streets and building are in this area. Again, LOVED everything about this place.

My husband and I enjoyed the accommodations. The condo was clean and I love having laundry facilities in my unit. We had no trouble finding the condo however, we had difficulty finding what unit was ours. We did not know that we were assigned to unit three and we use the lockbox number to determine that we were assigned to number three.

Our host Chris was very attentive to all our texts. Answers to our questions came within minutes. He also made suggestions that were very helpful. The condo was beautiful just as pictured. Was stocked with everything we needed for a day at the beach or cooking our meals. The condo was in walking distance(for us we love to walk) to the grocery stores. To the Virgin Island national Park welcome center and two trails. We were able to walk to downtown Cruz Bay to all the restaurants, so the location was amazing. The beds were kings and comfy The couch was large and comfortable. There were no negatives in relation to this VRBO stay! Carol M

I have mixed feelings about this VRBO. The good: the unit itself is very nice. The beds are great, bathrooms great, kitchen etc… and it was all clean. I have no complaints about the interior of the unit. So if that’s what you’re looking for, then this is a great place.The bad: for the price, I expected a lot more from the pool area. We never even ended up using it because it just wasn’t clean. Even when they cleaned it, it wasn’t clean. I tried to clean it myself but ultimately, it just wasn’t worth the efforts… the patio chairs are old and need replaced or at least a good cleaning… The beach chairs offered are stored on the patio uncovered so they’re not something I was interested in using (they were of course dirty and salt water in the air doesn’t do favors for anything). That same patio has two chairs on it but they also needed a good cleaning. Basically, everything inside is fine, everything outside was less than stellar in my opinion.Hosts are responsive and kind, no complaints with the service either. Location is close to everything but if you have a vehicle just plan on tight parking (that’s the entire island though) Would I stay here again? That would completely depend on what else is available. I really like having private a pool to use so if I found something else with a pool, i would probably try that first.
