It seems Malaga has a lot of crime. We were fine for out stay, but judging by the number of door locks and security requirements to get into the unit, it seems that way. Inside the front door is a list of credit card companies to call if your wallet is stolen. But we did not have any problems. The unit was a bit on the small side, with limited amibient lighting. Nonetheless, it was pleasant, it worked well for us and it was a good location for various activities.
Easier access - three different door codes were required.

Well positioned for the city, furnished beautifully with everything catered for, even found some umbrellas for the beach in the cupboard. All though the street was busy at night, the doors to the balconies were sound proof so we didn't hear anything.
The blind in the main bedroom was too thin and you could see people in the opposite apartment at night, so had to change in the bathroom when it was dark.
