The location is great. Couldn't be closer to the things you might want to see on holy island. The bed was super comfy, staff were friendly and the food was great. Felt like a really great traditional inn stay. The food was also great and the portions were massive. Having breakfast included was a fabulous bonus. Our stay felt very special. It's the perfect place for a short stay on the island.

I'm being super picky here, the shower pressure wasn't amazing but it was adequate, the lock on the door was a bit tricky (room 4) it also sounded like other people were having the same problem with the door locks too. These things are just tiny niggles, it was genuinely a great place to stay and we've already said we'd stay again.

Super location & chef who was also helping out serving at breakfast/dinner was the most lovely bubbly character. Unfortunately, this could not be said for one of her colleagues.

Rooms smelt heavily of bleach which was overpowering and varying levels of service from different staff. One was just unnecessarily rude & grumpy. Paid well above odds imo for what it was.
