Elm Lodge

Great place for a short break, close to many lovely nice places to eat and interesting towns and historic sites. Great to have charging points on site for Electric Cars.

the Lodge was really nice, only small improvement I would make would be a better mirror in the bathroom and maybe more clothes hooks on the back of the bedroom doors but everything is very well done.

It was a lovely and peaceful area, the lodge itself was very clean and comfortable. Very well equipped with everything you could need. The lodge is fenced all the way around with extra wire so dogs can’t get escape.

Overall the lodge was very nice and well equipped for our stay. The large garden area around the lodge was a major asset for our grand daughter to play safely. We were able to cook very easily in the generous kitchen area with out door BBQ also available. We liked the ability to eat on the patio table or inside using the dining table. The shower was very good and beds very comfortable. Although we didn't use them the EV chargers are a great idea.

As it is a 10 minute drive to local Aldi would have been nice for a small fresh milk to be put in fridge for arrival instead of the long life sachets to make a cuppa while settling in! The oven, BBQ and some areas in the toilet/shower were not as clean as we would have liked but not a major issue as we sorted it out ourselves.
