Carlingford Glamping Hut

We had a lovely stay! The host was really friendly and helpful, and the location was great. There’s a beautiful beach nearby and Carlingford is a lovely area to explore. Would definitely recommend!

This was my and my golden retriever 2nd stay in this gem of a place! If you wanna escape into a cute, comfortable ,peaceful place then this is it! Only 5 min walk to a long, beautiful beach( that is always empty) and under 10 min drive to Carlingford. We love this place, certainly will stay more often and longer. Should've stayed longer!!

It was close to the beach (walking distance), clean, cozy, quiet. Great for our 2-year-old too as we were able to close the gate and the yard was closed off then for him to play. John was very welcoming and friendly. We stayed for two nights and were so relaxed it felt like a week.

Great location, only a few minutes walk to the beach. John was very nice, when the barbecue ran out of gas as we were cooking, he gave us a small camping barbecue and then he went promptly to get more gas and also sticks and firelighters for the fire pit

Although there was an electric shower, there was no hot water in the kitchen sink and bathroom sink to wash your hands.The outdoor area had everything we needed, outdoor furniture, barbecue, fire pit which was brilliant but maybe something to brighten up the place, as in fresh flowers would be nice. There were a lot of hanging baskets but with all dead flowers in them. I know the weather has been really hot for a few weeks and there is a hose ban so I understand how things can slip. It was great having the beach so close but be aware that there are a lot of rocks if you’re thinking of swimming in the sea
