The property feels like a labour of love from the owners. Surrounded by their vineyard, it provides an exceptional haven to escape the hustle and bustle of everyday life. We had planned to base ourselves there and take day trips in the surrounding area however we fell under the magic spell of Quinta da Coitada and never left until our final day. It’s probably the most relaxing place we’ve ever stayed

Quinta da Coitada was absolutely stunning. This was seriously the nicest spot I have ever stayed in my life. The pictures and listing do not do this place justice. The private updated villa located in the middle of an expansive vineyard offers incredible panoramic views of the Duoro River and a private pool. Paolo and his daughter Margarida were friendly and generous hosts and were happy to share the wine from their vineyard with us. We could not recommend this place enough and would love to return one day.
