Large Sea View 2 bedroom Sleeps 6 - Free Parking

Location was great , there was enough space for everyone. The beach only a 12min walk and , wasn’t busy as others . There was cafe and pubs close by . 10min drive from bournemouth beach

The WiFi wasn’t good . And phone signal wasn’t good either , so we were in a black zone for a few hours couldn’t watch tv or just laptop

Overall this accommodation works. It is spacious and well equipped. The communication was good. Parking was available and the location was useful. It is well equipped.

There was a long list of regulations T&Cs with a £250 deposit required. I had not had that before but understand the need. The walls were thin and the noisy neighbours were intrusive - but that can't be helped. The building was shabby - interior and exterior (e.g. carpets heavily stained). The WiFi was terrible and unusable. The shower connection was faulty so sprayed everywhere. The TV did not work and when I contacted the help number was told to find some batteries for the remote and change them myself. I noted that the site is designated for demolition so I can understand why there has been no recent investment in the place. It was OK for one night.

I liked how spacious it was, the view was amazing day and evening time

I didn't like that visually it could do with a little spruce up, like the kitchen ceiling was damp where they had a leak prior but have not repainted it. There was cracks in the walls too and tou could hear everything ! People walking upstairs, I didn't like how you can hear neighbours like they're in the next room, with having my kids with me I was abit on edge on what they would hear but luckily they didn't hear anything bad. Because of this tho, when me and my kids were laughing we got a bang on the ceiling for us to be quiet, so it was somewhere you couldnt really be yourself as you had to be very careful about noise levels, even small ones.. we was only sat on the sofa watching something funny on the tv but got told to be quiet ! Speaking of TV, one evening the WiFi stopped working so we couldn't watch any tele as the host told us it couldn't be fixed til the following day when they would send someone out. Inconvenience as the WiFi wasn't great anyway. The beds were quite hard, although fine for short stays but I wouldn't of done much longer as they weren't too comfortable, sofa was hard too. We found ants in the livingroom too, just a couple.. bit dull and dingy from the outside which was disappointing, not even a flower pot present to brighten the place outside, no handle on the main door to get into the building, the building itself was quite run down to be honest. The roughest looking one on the strip unfortunately 😕 Location is quite far from everything like the arcades amd fair, if you want a nice chilled quiet time, it's perfect, however we had to get taxis as it was an hours walk down the beach to get to Bournemouth pier and facilities, there's a quiet pub nearby where we went into one evening and it seems nice and chilled in there but they allow dogs so we didn't stay long.
