Very disappointing - not a ‘beautiful’ property at all!

Location was great and a nice view. Plenty of space

Didn’t feel very clean. No blinds on windows which made you feel very exposed Rusty toilet roll holder in bathroom - easy fixed and just felt like owner doesn’t care Poor shower. Temperature was erratic and changed to boiling hot in the middle of my son’s shower and scalded him - dangerous! Lack of plug sockets - had to move the bed to get to the only one in second bedroom - and it was filthy No hairdryer even though it was stated there was one - just an empty box for it! Wi-Fi was terrible, not fit for purpose Having to pay a security deposit and additional form was a lot considering the standard of the property

Great location for Southbourne beach & town

Ground floor, Flat 3. Aug 2025, family of 4. Fantastic location, just steps from the zig-zag entrance to the beach. Very close to town, making everything easily accessible. Easy and convenient parking. Sea view from the front room. Smart TV Plenty of hot water. Well equipped kitchen. Excellent communication from the letting agent, Stai. Overall, an ok stay for two nights, thanks to the location and amenities. However be aware of the extra steps required for booking and some noise from neighbouring flats.

Flats are not very soundproof, you can hear noise especially from the flat above. Property is a bit tired and dated. WiFi is poor. Bathroom needs refurbishing. You’ll be required to provide ID, sign a rental agreement, and pay a £250 deposit through a third-party link. Unfortunately, this wasn’t clearly stated at the time of booking. (It’s intended as a security measure to protect the property from potential issues.)

Not Good at all. Location is the only thing positive.

Location amazing

Massive burn hole in sofa, Shelf in hall not screwed down, Radiator hanging on by a thread, Main door to apartment needs fixing. Front door to apartment 3 the lock is temprimental and took me upto 20 seconds at times to get out. multiple times. other times it was ok. Wether this is down to the heat. i dont know. But Still needs sorting as is not safe, Duvet covers too small and 1/4 of the duvet hung out of the end. No Broom or mop, I wanted to sweep and mop but had to buy my own dust pan and brush. Kitchen doors are loose. Didn't use any of the kitchen appliances, but lacking on things like tin openers and other things. Floor was tacky in places. Bathroom was not great. fit for purpose very tired. If you have kids the water is set ridiculously hot and we had to tell the children not to use the taps unsupervised. Msgd regarding some of my concerns twice and no response. Will have to contact booking.com to see if they can look into this. There are many apartments so the review is based on tne ground floor.. great location, thankfully only there for 2 nights. We only stayed a 2nd night becouse we tried to spend as little time there as possible due to the nice weather. I was dissapounted about the door being hard to unlock as this is a potential fire risk. The more time we spent there the more problems with the place materialised. I heard the bad reviews about the noise from above, so I can't grumble about that becouse i was aware. One thing that can't be helped. The foyer door screeches so loud and for the 2 days I was there there was 2 bodyboards and sand all over the floor. My balcony that was ground floor wasnt clean and tiny rubbish and debris all inside the fake grass. Also didn't bother me as was only used briefly. Might sound like I moan allot but the lack of response has made me feel like ensuring you are aware of what you may get.

A wonderful location in the first row of houses by the sea, spacious and cozy

A wonderful location in the first row of houses by the sea. From the first floor you can see patches of sea on the horizon. A good deal of space inside the apartment is complemented with a balcony. Full set of kitchen utensils. The oven works perfectly. Spacious refrigerator with a fridge for ice cream. Parking nearby so that you can see your car from your window. If you came to enjoy the seaside, you can't find a better apartment for the money. Hot water, a bath, and a shower to wash the salt and sand.

The property requires additional identification, signing agreements, and transferring the deposit using 3rd-party websites (not booking.com).

Run down, tired, photos did not reflect reality. Would not recommend.

Location was excellent. Good to have free parking. Ower responsive to issues, but not really much that could be done. Poorly equipped kitchen, no oven trays or oven proof dishes.

Property smelt of very strong air freshener on arrival as if masking smell of smoke. Large burn mark on sofa bed. Floors worn & dirty. Wallpaper peeling off in bedroom. Front door not very secure. Extremely noisy neighbours above. WiFi signal none existent & TV didn't work at all, even terrestrial. Disappointing stay.
