We had an amazing stay, we were welcomed by the family and they went above and beyond to make us feel at home. The room was lovely and very comfortable. I can’t fault this place, we would definitely stay again

This is a lovely pretty hotel where a good deal of thought has been given to presentation and standards. From the beautiful furniture in the room to the continental breakfast with homemade yogurt and jam. The family go above and beyond to make you feel welcome. Both sons have excellent English so there were no communication difficulteis. The hotel is a good but interesting walk to the centre but the Ubers are very cheap.

Tea and coffee facilites would have been nice in the room.

What we loved most was the villa itself — a beautiful piece of Arte Nova from the early twentieth century, and you can feel that history the moment you step inside. More than once I caught myself drifting back in time, imagining how wonderful it must have been to live in a house like this a hundred years ago. Our room was a real gem: spacious, spotlessly clean, sweet and welcoming. The family who owns the house made the stay even more special — warm, kind and genuinely helpful, always ready with a smile and a recommendation. We also booked dinner at their restaurant, and what a treat it was. The food was exceptional, every bite a little journey for the taste buds.
