The staff were helpful and responsive and the rooms were clean. The guest house is very close to a metro that quickly accesses the centre of Porto, which is my main highlight for the positives. The room was cleaned regularly and fresh towels were provided if needed. The nearby laundromat was very useful and easy to use, handled the clothes well.
The provided shower amenities were a standard combination shampoo bodywash which wasn't very nice for me personally. The room was a bit small. The tap water was fine but we took from the shared kitchen/living area as upon arrival the bathroom sink dispensed brown water which we ran until it turned clear again (likely just old pipe sediment), and the toilet did not flush (but was quickly handled by the staff). For me, the bed was too firm though I prefer soft.

Nicely located guest house just 10-15 min by nearby metro station to the center. You can also find nice restauranrs nearby. Guest house has a nice shared kitchen with all what is needed. Facilities are in good cobditition and clean, the room is good :)
We only wish if cleaning - more like making our bed (as nothing else was done) - could be optional and if the worker firstly knocked up on the door instead if just trying to open it...it was 9 am on Sunday ... The other thing is offering city tourist maps could be nice too.

Good location, close to metro station. Good size bathroom and access to kitchen which was convenient during my stay. Air conditioning and comfortable bed.
The room was very small even for a single person, but okay for a short stay. However, the cleanliness could be improved as there was dust on the floor. My room only had daylight coming through the bathroom windows which were opaque so no proper view of the outside, and the communal dining room only had a view of a painted wall outside.
