Amazing location and beautiful accomodation

The location was perfect — a stone’s throw from cafés and the pub. The décor was country‑style, which was also perfect. The property was set high amongst the trees, creating a peaceful and tranquil atmosphere.

The stairs, uneven and steep driveway surface, and shower were challenging for my 86‑year‑old father‑in‑law. The mattress in the loft was soft — uncomfortable for me, but fine for my husband.

We stayed at two8seven5 Country Escape in Hunter Valley as a group to celebrate Christmas in July, and the experience was incredible from start to finish. From the moment we booked, the hosts were prompt, helpful, and accommodating – answering all our questions quickly and thoroughly. They even shared details for a local wine tour operator and offered to arrange remedial massages at the house, which was such a thoughtful touch. The property itself is absolutely beautiful – warm, inviting, and perfectly set up for a group getaway. Every space is well thought out, from the cozy interiors and spacious living areas to the fully equipped kitchen and peaceful bedrooms. It had the perfect ambience for a festive winter getaway! Tucked away in a stunning location but still close to wineries and local attractions, this place is a real gem. We made so many wonderful memories and are already planning our return visit. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a relaxing and memorable escape in the Hunter.

Plenty of beds to suit our group. Convenient location also as we booked this accomodation for a near by wedding. The host was quick at responding to any questions we had and was very helpful regarding our check in needs.
