Location, cleanliness and comfort

It was great, but we could have used a wine bottle opener

The house seemed very recently built, and is kept clean and comfortable. Best bed (pillowtop) we've slept on in 5 weeks in country! Nice spacious kitchen (with induction stovetop) and bath. Easy parking. Dark and quiet at night. Good WiFi and TV with streaming options. Washer AND dryer. Easy keypad entry.

Good location, but you need a car to get anywhere.

We’ll set up for couples, small families and of course, mountain bikers. Perfect quiet and safe location with easy access to Whakarewarewa Forest

Everything well set up and a great base for us. Minor, but it could do with a couple more large sauce pans for cooking larger volumes of food, struggled a bit with the pans available. Similarly the bowls and mugs are very small, could really do with more large size bowls rather than eating out of the mixing jug 😳 The main bedroom has discrete side tables built into the bed base, but I always miss them to start with, and whilst quite cool, they’re too low and impractical. Really need proper bed side tables. Final one, the bedding on the main bed just doesn’t fit. Duvet js too small, duvet cover and sheets way too big… really need to fix that as it gets a bit of a wrestle / jumble. You could say all are minor, and we do really like staying in the house. We’ve stayed a few times now and these things could do with sorting if possible.
