The Space:

Red Door 56 is a beautifully presented white-brick bungalow that balances classic Kiwi character with modern comforts. From the moment you arrive, the striking red front door sets the tone - warm, welcoming and just a little bit special. Inside, the home flows across a spacious lounge, a well-appointed kitchen and dining area, two comfortable bedrooms and a stylish bathroom.

Bedroom 1 (Master): Queen bed, with a heat pump and garden views

Bedroom 2: Double bed, with a ceiling fan and built-in wardrobe

Sleeps 4 in total. All bedding and linen supplied.



- BATHROOMS -

One stylish bathroom with a large glass-enclosed shower and a floating vanity.



- LIVING AREA -

An open lounge with a heat pump, a flat-screen TV, polished hardwood floors and sliding doors to the front deck. The kitchen is fully equipped - electric cooktop, fan oven, dishwasher, full fridge-freezer and microwave - with a dining table seating four. There's a separate laundry with a washing machine.



- OUTDOOR AREA -

A front sun deck with raised garden beds and a bistro set for four, and a rear entertainer's deck with a full-size Weber gas BBQ and a timber picnic table. Both look out over a fully fenced lawn.



- PARKING -

A wide paved driveway gives secure off-street parking for several vehicles. The garage isn't available for guests, but there's a small shed for storing bikes.



Guest Access:

You'll have the whole home to yourselves - both bedrooms, the bathroom, the lounge, the kitchen and dining, the separate laundry, and both decks with the fenced lawn. There's a wide driveway for off-street parking and a small shed for bikes (the garage isn't available for guests).



The Neighborhood:

Red Door 56 sits in Springfield, one of Rotorua's handy central-west suburbs - a relaxed, leafy spot that keeps you close to everything. Te Puia and the Whakarewarewa geothermal valley are just up the road, Kuirau Park's free steaming pools are a short drive, and the CBD, lakefront and Polynesian Spa are all close by. The Redwoods Whakarewarewa Forest, one of New Zealand's best mountain-biking and walking destinations, is an easy ride away - a real draw for cyclists.



Getting Around:

A car is the easiest way to explore Rotorua, and the wide driveway gives you plenty of off-street parking. By car, Te Puia is about 3 minutes away, the Waiariki and Polynesian spas around 8, and Skyline, ZORB and Canopy Tours roughly 11. Rotorua Airport is about 14 minutes, and the Redwoods are an easy ride for those bringing bikes.



Other Things to Note:

A few things worth knowing: there are heat pumps in the lounge and the master bedroom to keep things comfortable year-round, and a small shed for storing bikes (the garage isn't available for guests). The home has two decks and a fully fenced lawn, and WiFi is available throughout.
