Rotorua Tranquility

It's a two-bedroom apartment with comfortable double beds, several kitchen appliances (e.g., a microwave, air fryer, toaster), and a TV with a decent selection of channels and apps. It's a very safe apartment, and it has a truly beautiful garden (with outdoor spa) where you can relax in various seating areas and among the flowers.

It's a pity that the kitchenette doesn't have a sink or water supply (it's actually located in a small hallway). The toilet and shower don't really form a single physical unit with the apartment.

Quiet and peaceful

Front of the building does not reflect the name( Tranquility 🙂but the interior setup is comfortable and really quiet. The outdoors reflects the tranquility you seek in a way but the scenery around it will be pretty neat once the trees are fully grown. Just a comfortable and relaxing experience if looking for a short stay. Pretty close to everything else around the city if you seek more.

Too many locked doors indicating the place is not completely private but shared with the owners.Maybe sliding panels to hide those many doors will do the trick.

We had 2 bedrooms,

We had to walk along a corridor to get the shower room which was at the front of the house (the rest of the accommodation was at the back, we had to go backwards and forwards to take the plates etc to wash up to the shared area, at the front of the house, dogs woke me up both mornings barking outside. We were going to go in the spa in the beautiful outside area but changed our minds when I lifted up the BBQ lid and found cockroaches running about underneath. We couldn’t get the TV to work so I called them and was told they were having problems as well. You can’t get normal TV but watched Netflix instead and TVNZ on demand. They live above the property, there also a business operated in a room next door and we could hear everything that was being said. We had to reverse out onto a main road as there were 4 other cars parked on the driveway. You can’t use the washing machine at the front of the house unless you are booked in for 3 days or more.
