Veluni - Apartment - Free parking

The location of this apartment is 10/10! ⭐ The host kindly left us lots of treats on our arrival and the added benefit of a secure parking space was really important, especially in this busy seaside town! Stobreč has 2 beaches, plenty of restaurants/bars and small convenience stores all within 5 min walk. Split city center is 15-20 minute drive (depending on time of day, early in the morning is the busiest time approx. 7am) we used this car park SPLIT Parkplatz Bijankinijeva ul. 2, 21000, Split, Croatia to leave our car all day (from 7:30-6pm) and it cost us €16.50 and it was a 10 minute walk from Split port (if you're going on boat trips for example) and even less into the main square if you're looking around markets and Diocletian Palace, I will say that this car park is tight and VERY busy as it's so convenient so you may have to be patient until a space frees up (first 10 minutes are free) Some of the restaurants we visited in Stobreč are: Konoba Nikola (Primarily fresh fish, amazing food! Very personal service, small place so make sure you book ahead!) Lovacki Rog (big meat platter pictured, staff are super friendly) Pizzeria Margarita (lovely staff and delicious food!)

Overall our stay was absolutely amazing, however, out of personal preference I would've liked a slightly softer pillow as the provided pillows were very high, my husband and I went out and purchased different pillows from the local IKEA in the split mall. I also would've loved the convenience of a washing machine (this is me being lazy!) there is a washing up bowl and detergent provided to hand wash clothes which I took full advantage off, but this of course takes time (clothes dry over night is Split heat, absolutely amazing 😍) Lastly, be mindful if you have lots of heavy bags as there is no elevator and from the garage (if you've rented a car) you'll have to climb up 4 flights of stairs which is a real workout haha!

One of the best apartments I have ever stayed in. It's not your typical rental unit where it's all fancy photos - for this apartment, photos don't do it justice.
