A fabulous stay in Provence

What a fabulous find- a gite on the outskirts of St Remy de Provence that was private and peaceful. A convenient place from which to visit the nearby interesting villages, eat out at the many local restaurants and come home for a relax on the patio or by the pool. A swim in the afternoon surrounded by fabulous camellias and a variety of trees provided a perfect end to each day (followed by a crisp cold glass of the local La Gov rose!). Marcel & Stephanie were extremely charming and helpful hosts who allowed us to enjoy a fantastic week, thank you!

Amazing Provence

We loved the quiet location with views of the beautiful Alpilles from the apartment and swimming pool. Marcel and Stephanie are brilliant hosts.

Lovely apartment close to St. Remy (about a three minute drive).

The location is stunning with views of the Alpilles, and the hosts could not be more welcoming. It's a pretty well equipped place though maybe a few more kitchen things (like a proper sharp knife for cutting ingredients) would make it even better. The beds are very comfortable, the sitting area too. Oh, and the lovely Neige (Stephanie and Marcel's dog) will greet you on arrival!

Nothing major though do note that the apartment is upstairs (which might be difficult for some).

Delightful apartment provides an excellent base for visiting the surrounding area.

A well appointed apartment on the 1st floor adjoining the owners’ house with a beautiful garden facing the Alpilles. Outdoor swimming pool. Saint Rèmy-de-Provence is interesting in its own right and is an excellent base for visiting the Alpilles, Les Baux, Arles and the Camargue. Lovely big fridge freezer. Stéphanie and Marcel are delightful hosts.

The kitchen equipment could be more comprehensive to include a grater, smaller pots and pans.

Perfectly wonderful in every way.

It is beautiful, the apartment is spacious and the pool lovely. Stephanie and Marcel were perfect hosts. It's a quiet spot with a stunning view. We felt lucky to have stayed here.

We loved it all but if you want to walk into St Rémy it's about 40 minutes or so to town center. We drove and parked for free in town.

Traumhafter Aufenthalt in der Provence

Wunderschöne Lage am Stadtrand von St Remy mit Blick auf die Alpillen. Liebenswerte Gastgeber, die nur für uns den Pool schon Ende April vorbereitet haben - herzlichen Dank! Die Wohnung ist gut ausgestattet und die Schlafzimmer sind geräumig und vor allem sehr ruhig. Die Außenanlagen laden zum Ausruhen am Pool ein. Und wir haben einen Wanderweg entdeckt, der praktisch direkt vom Haus an einem kleinen Kanal entlang über die Alpillen und Glanum wieder zurück führt. Auch die anderen Provence-Highlights sind von St Remy in kurzer Zeit erreichbar. Das Auto haben wir auf dem großen, abgeschlossenen und kostenlosen Parkplatz abgestellt. Sehr gerne kommen wir wieder.
