A bit away from hustle bustle. Good property with little short off staff. But you will not feel that as they take good care of theor guest. However room service could be better with more staff. Good breakfast was served and very nice people . Always ready to help. I had a wonderful stay

We just stayed one night to get out of Hanoi and enjoy the scenery of Ninh Binh. The room was spacious and clean. Shower and bathroom all fine, bed comfortable. The material they used to built the place are not the most exquisite, but it's okay. The hotel is away from the main road, but very close to the train track, so you hear trains passing by until late. The pool was clean and good for a quick swim. Hotel staff can help you with tips for boat tours etc. there is also a free bike rental, motorbike costs some bucks extra per day. we had lunch, dinner and breakfast at the hotel, all meals were recommendable.

⭐☆☆☆☆ Our experience at Coco Island Villa Hotel was extremely disappointing, especially considering this was part of our honeymoon. The problems started right away with the TV not working for over 24 hours. Despite telling the front desk three separate times, nothing was done until finally, on the third time, we were met with a dismissive and rude “I know! I’m going now.” That set the tone for the stay. The towels provided had holes in them, and the majority of the male staff were condescending, if not outright rude. The one bright spot was Jenny, who was wonderful and helped us plan a great day — but aside from her, the service was a joke in terms of basic customer care and politeness. When we picked up our laundry, instead of a simple handoff, we were met with comments about it being “too much,” which felt unprofessional and unnecessary. The final straw was the restaurant closing an hour earlier than posted without informing guests. Many of us had to leave the property in the rain to find dinner elsewhere. And while the food served on-site was tasty, it was nearly two to three times the cost of nearby local restaurants, making it hard to justify. This is far from a 4-star property. The location is also not as advertised — it’s wedged between two busy roads, with constant car horns, and you can clearly hear other guests in their rooms. For what was supposed to be a honeymoon stay, the experience was unbelievably disappointing, frustrating, and at times downright rude. I cannot recommend this hotel to anyone looking for comfort, service, or even simple courtesy.
