The Reitlandhof Franke is situated in a charming, secluded location in the midst of a spacious, park-like property near the North Sea dike on the Jadebusen, south of Butjadingen.
The farm borders the Lower Saxony Wadden Sea, designated as a national park and a World Natural Heritage Site. The tides shape the Wadden Sea and the lives of the people who live here. The sea dike, the mysterious “floating moor,” and the swimming area in Sehestedt—with its small grassy and sandy beach, paved stone pier, showers, changing rooms, snack bar, and children’s playground—are all just a few kilometers away. At low tide, you can wade through the mineral-rich mudflats.
The larger cities of Bremerhaven, Jever, Oldenburg, Rastede, Varel, and Wilhelmshaven are each less than 50 km from the Reitlandhof. The nearest supermarkets are in Schweiburg, Jaderberg, and Varel. In October, the “Migratory Bird Days” organized by the National Park Administration offer exciting excursions and educational opportunities.

Welcome to our comfortable vacation rental, Gallery 1.
This dog-friendly, home-like vacation rental can accommodate up to 6 people—spanning 115 square meters across 2 1/2 floors with a private terrace, plus shared access to the pool hall, sauna, and play barn. Your four-legged friends are warmly welcome. The ground-floor apartment is nestled in the countryside at our Reitlandhof Franke in Stadland and is one of a total of 4 vacation apartments—making it ideal for group bookings and work crews.
The Reitlandhof Franke is situated in a charming, secluded location in the midst of a spacious, park-like property near the North Sea dike on the Jadebusen, south of Butjadingen.
The on-site pool hall (unheated) offers our guests a fun swimming experience. Use of the on-site sauna is included. There is also a covered play barn. Please note that the above-mentioned areas—the pool, sauna, and play barn—may be used by all guests staying in the four apartments.
From the welcoming entryway with a coat rack, turn right to enter the living room, which features a wood-burning stove, a large seating area, and an armchair. Directly behind it is the fully equipped kitchenette with a dining area decorated in nautical colors. The first shower room/restroom is located on the first floor. An open wooden staircase leads to the upper floor. Here you’ll find another shower room with a toilet, as well as the two bedrooms with two double beds and plenty of space for clothing.
Two additional single beds are located on the open sleeping loft. This sleeping area cannot be locked.
Enjoy your own large terrace with a view of the greenery.
Check-in is available from 4:00 PM to midnight, and check-out from 8:00 AM to 10:00 AM.
