Have you ever dreamed of experiencing the breathtaking landscape of the Wesermarsch, right next to the dike, and experience the breathtaking landscape of the Wesermarsch?
Our rustic farmhouse in Sehestedt, surrounded by trees and meadows, is the perfect place to stay for anyone looking for a special vacation experience in peace and nature.
With approximately 90 square meters of living space, it can accommodate up to 6 people. The approximately 5,000-square-meter, natural property features cozy nooks that invite you to linger and offers children plenty of space to play and explore.
Many vacation dreams can come true in this magnificent setting.
Dogs traveling with you can run around to their heart’s content on the large grounds.
The farmhouse has been left largely in its original condition, giving it a very special charm.
The rustic look and quaint atmosphere will immediately captivate you and put you in the vacation mood.
The lack of an internet connection and the only so-so cell phone reception are the perfect conditions for unwinding from the stresses of everyday life.
The farmhouse’s facade is characterized by a large, distinctive plank door. It opens fully, allowing for a seamless transition from the front garden into the spacious entryway.
The entryway leads you into the living area, where you’ll find the kitchen and a dining room. A sofa nook in front of the open fireplace is perfect for cozy evenings.
On the first floor, there are also 2 bedrooms, each sleeping 2 people. Upstairs, another large bedroom offers space for 2–4 additional guests.
The farmhouse features a bathroom with a shower and toilet, as well as a separate shower and toilet in the entryway.
A terrace covered by the shed allows you to spend time outdoors and enjoy nature in any weather.
Next to the terrace, you’ll find a wooden sauna where you can relax.
It’s located directly behind the dike of the Jadebusen in the UNESCO World Heritage Site Wadden Sea. Here you’ll find a unique nature reserve: the “floating bog,” the world’s only bog located outside a dike.
Enjoy the vastness of the Wesermarsch, the mudflats, the sea, and the wind—and let your mind wander.
On foot or by bike, you can reach the Sehestedt beach section on the Wadden Sea—just about 1,500 meters away—where you can go swimming.
You can have a daily bread roll delivery service. In Varel, 15 km away, you’ll find all the shops you need for daily necessities.
This is an old, thatched farmhouse in the countryside with exposed wooden ceilings and an open fireplace. Dust, cobwebs, or the smell of an open fire cannot be completely avoided and are part of the charm of this authentic home.
This is a non-smoking home.
Dogs are allowed in this home for an additional cleaning fee.
Parties and events are not permitted in this vacation home. It features a covered patio and a large garden.
