Location and Comfort. The Chelsea of Medina is a cozy 1959 cottage with original charm and beauty blended with modern-day amenities. Arched doorways, creaky wood floors, and laundry chutes are just a few of the architectural characteristics. Conveniently located in a quiet Medina neighborhood within walking distance to the Historic Medina Town Square, coffee houses, eateries, craft breweries, grocery stores, drug stores, banks, and so much more. Love the outdoors? Relax on our spacious back yard patio or get out and explore over 21 parks and nature preserves throughout Medina County.

The galley kitchen is fully equipped to prepare or serve your favorite meals. There is an electric stove, refrigerator, microwave, toaster oven, air fryer, pressure/slow cooker, griddle, coffee maker, bakeware, dishes, silverware, and much more.

The dining area includes a dinette set that can expand from 4 people to 6.

The large living room has 3 reclining chairs, a full-size couch, fireplace with a 55" wall-mounted flat-screen smart TV with ROKU. Wi-Fi is provided with GUEST MODE activation, so you are free to use any of the apps that appear on the television screen and also safely download your apps like Hulu, Amazon Prime, etc. apps. Your personal information is automatically deleted upon your checkout date. The living room cabinet is where board games, cards, puzzles, and a few books are stored for you to enjoy.

From the living room, walk out to the large cement patio where you can enjoy a campfire on the firepit, dine outdoors, relax in the sun, or enjoy the many birds, rabbits, and friendly deer. The large fenced-in backyard has plenty of room to play badminton, volleyball, cornhole, or your favorite outdoor games.

The first-floor bedroom has a queen-size bed, a large closet area, an office set-up with a computer monitor and printer, and a full bathroom.

The second full-size bathroom is located upstairs with the two additional bedrooms.

The master bedroom is located on the second floor and is furnished with a hotel premier collection hybrid king mattress, a full-size dresser, and a flat-screen smart TV with ROKU.

The third bedroom is also located on the second floor and includes two twin beds with bamboo deluxe pillow top mattresses, a writing table and chair, a dresser, and ample closet space.

This old house still has functional laundry chutes that send your dirty clothes to the basement where the washer and dryer are located. One is in the upstairs linen closet and the other is on the main living level.

We have a two-car attached garage (available upon request) for you to safely store your bikes, hiking gear, 4-wheelers, etc. There is a breezeway that connects the garage to the house which is a nice spot to relax and enjoy your morning coffee or an evening cocktail.

The neighborhood and getting around - We are conveniently located in a quiet Medina neighborhood that is within walking distance of just about anything you need. Take a stroll and enjoy the many options available to you -- shopping, coffee shops, eateries, bakeries, breweries, art/craft galleries and studios, music venues, museums, cinema, groceries, churches, a public library, post office, banks, and our popular downtown festivals in the Historic Medina Town Square. If you would rather not walk, Uber, Lyft, Medina Public Transit, and local taxis are an option.

HOUSEKEEPING - There is no daily housekeeping provided at the rental rate. Before check-in, our home will be thoroughly cleaned and inspected by a professional cleaning service. For longer stays, mid-stay cleaning services can be requested for an additional fee.

COMPLIMENTARY CONSUMABLES - We provide two starter sets of toiletries (soap, shampoo, conditioner) and coffee, creamer, and sugar. We offer mid-reservation supply replenishing at a minimal cost.

INTERACTION WITH GUESTS - You will be able to self-check-in upon arrival. We are here for you during your stay, but our level of interaction is up to you. We are only a phone call or text message away.
