We had an amazing stay at potters wheel very clean and cosy. Our host was very helpful everything we needed to cook and clean.. Private access to the lake was lovely.. We will 100% be back

Lovely small cottage with everything you need for a comfortable holiday. Two nice bedrooms, modern fully equipped kitchen and bathroom with excellent walk in shower. Great if you want private and direct access to beautiful Lake Coniston for any water activities.

Clean, comfortable and warm.
Very useful folder of information, intelligently written. Plus appliance manuals for cooker, dishwasher etc.
There were just the two of us - which meant we did not need to use the spiral staircase.
Kitchen well equipped with good quality utensils.

Generally a charming, pretty, comfortable little cottage. Was almost perfect for what we needed.
If being picky:
we couldnt get terrestrial TV channels (may say more about us) to work
underfloor heating difficult to programme and didnt seem to work
downstairs bedroom lake facing blind is too small and lets in light. needs to be larger.
probably needs another lavatory if 4 people staying for extended time
