We enjoyed our stay and loved the proximity to the IU Stadium.

Pet areas were fine. The kitchen could be equipped better. We needed a potato peeler and a spatula which were not on site. Also, we did not realize there was not a dishwasher on this property. It was clean and spacious and we had plenty of room.

Fit our needs perfectly and close to campus!

We enjoyed our time here. Very comfortable and great location to IU! We appreciated that it’s a dog friendly property as well. Loved sitting on the enclosed porch and watching the deer. Although seat cushions on the chairs would be nice. Property manager was very nice and addressed a few issues when needed.

This home is beautiful and clean. The check in was simple and there were plenty of great smelling clean towels, plenty of toiletries and any time I contacted the owner with a question, I got an immediate response. I highly recommend this place for a quiet stay away from noise.

We had a fantastic time at this house! Craig was easy to communicate with and always had fast response. Only suggestions for my comfort and privacy would to be have more curtains on first floor windows and have wine glasses and blankets for the couch’s available! Location was great and close to many things! Really enjoyed our stay!

We rented this to have our daughter and her friends High School Graduation party. It was great!

Very charming historic home. The kitchen could use a few wine glasses. We didn’t cook, it’s not really as well setup as some places are if you’re going to cook. The dining room table is huge , you could have quite a few people there if you needed to. Really minor criticism, it’s a wonderful old house. Wish we had been in town longer to enjoy it. We may be back when visiting our son on campus. I loved your stories of your faith journeys . We have never seen that in a VRBO before so it was wonderful to see. Lovely place really.

We rented this house for a reunion of 3 friends from high school. I mentioned to the host it was two of us staying the night and our friend joining us to cook dinner. The host failed to mention that the kitchen, though big and looks nice from photos, is NOT equipped for anything except making a sandwich or boiling a pot of water or cooking a frozen pizza (which we ended up having to do). There were only coffee mugs, no drinking glasses for water, and 3 red Solo cups (gross). There was ONE knife, not even a set chop food. Fridge had duct tape holding a shelf on. Most of the cabinets and drawers you see in the photos are empty. Half of the windows on the downstairs level have NO curtains. So our friend, a man, ended up staying the night with us as we were two women uncomfortable staying alone in a house where who knows who could wander the property and see in. No front porch lights even. One of the beds was a cheap IKEA foam mattress and super stiff. The bedroom curtain rods are all askew, there's missing outlet covers, light fixtures with exposed wires. This home is older, but NOT remodeled at all even though the ad states that. I LOVE older homes with character, but this is simply a lack of basic care or respect.Smoke detector wasn't affixed to ceiling on the first floor, and began beeping due to dead battery at 4am. We had to hide it in the washer to go back to sleep. The owners left proselytizing religious materials out, which is beyond inappropriate.Don't book.

Great house. Old world charm. Historic. Gorgeous property.

Overall, we enjoyed our stay at this lovely home. A little disappointed to find a vacuum cleaner half full of dirt and confetti. Upon check in we noticed that the smoke detector was sitting on the mantle with the battery popped out and the Roku remotes had been disabled with their rubber keypads removed. It’s a nice home to Enjoy while visiting Bloomington.

This is a clean rental in a great location. It was comfortable and well-appointed for a week-long stay.

The wooded area makes it very peaceful, lots of birds and far enough from the neighbors to feel like you are on your own. In the early spring there is of course no foliage/leaves on trees like in the aerial pictures. I would love to stay in the summer or fall when it would feel more wooded. Old house, remodeled. Great location.Kitchen is sparsely stocked.

We had a great stay for a few short days and easily could have stayed longer! With our soon-to-be 2-year old with us, having plenty of space for her to play was super, and it was wonderful being so close to IU and WonderLab museum. We typically make most of our meals when vacationing, so the only thing to be aware of is there are no pantry staples (such as cooking oil) aside from a few spices, so plan ahead as needed or make a quick trip to the grocery less than a mile away :)The space is great, the beds are super comfy, and there's plenty of room on the property (inside and out) to let kiddos play.We hope to be back for another stay on our next visit to Bloomington!

We were there a very short time, coming in just before bed and leaving early in the morning for a campus tour. This location is perfect for visiting Indiana University. The beds are comfortable and the layout works well. I would say they shouldn’t advertise as renovated l, although I’m sure they put work into it, the upstairs is certainly all original. Maybe lean into the old world charm? Also there was already garbage in the kitchen can, which I wouldn’t mind a little, but when the rules are to take out the trash, I don’t want to take out someone else’s or the candy wrapper that was under the bag and I took out too.Overall the place was clean and worked well for our stay.

This place was great value and worked perfectly for our family. The owner was great with making sure drive was plowed and we really enjoyed the location!

Great location just a short drive from the IU campus. We were a last minute stay, but the house felt a little unequipped. We didn't have any dish soap to adequately wash baby bottles nor extra trash bags. That said, it was what we needed and the space was good for a family.

Beautiful historic home that was in a great location for us - would be great to visit in the warmer months too as there is an expansive yard.
Bedrooms are large and lots of living space on main floor. Furniture is comfortable - only downside is if you had a larger family there - seating for just 5 people in the living area. There are dining room chairs and kitchen chairs if needed. Would definitely stay here again.

House had plenty of space for our family and college boys to come stay. Plenty of parking and we loved having a fall bonfire in the evening after the game.

We felt this was a nice place to stay for our weekend getaway in Bloomington and visiting the surrounding area. Was very easy to access the heart of Bloomington and a short drive to Brown County. The home was mostly clean. The floors felt like they hadnt been swept before pur arrival but everything else was great. We did have to dig through some closets to find trash bags and a few other essentials but all in all a great stay.

This 1928 home was spacious, and had plenty of old world charm. The house and yard could use some upkeep BUT it served its purpose, housing a large group for a fun IU home game weekend. Thank you!

While this is an older home that's in the process of being renovated, everything was accessible and functioning as one should expect. Linens were clean, beds were comfy, and while a bit hard to find (the driveway is hidden a bit), once you were there it was easy to see why people enjoy the spot. It is not a fancy house by any means, but the communication with the landlord was easy and quick anytime a question came up. Looking forward to when the lower and upper decks are completed. I'd go back for sure.

We really loved the house and the close proximity to Indiana University. The only downside to our stay were the small details. There needs to be a better stock of cooking utensils and general supplies, there were no trash bags for the kitchen trash can and there were no kitchen towels or dishwashing materials. The house was perfect for our overnight stay but needs just a little more attention to the details.

Great property! Private and quiet, but close to Bloomington attractions and IU- Best of both worlds!
