Cayenne Cottage at 13 Cottage Row is a lovely, four-bedroom 2100 sq ft., beach cottage. It is located in the private gated community of Beach Retreat in beautiful Miramar Beach on Scenic Gulf Drive. Just steps to the crystal sands of the Gulf, it is ideally located for restaurants, shopping and entertainment.
Built in 2005, we have professionally decorated this house with our enjoyment and yours in mind. The furniture. appliances and the flat paneled TVs in the living room and bedrooms are all designed for your comfort.
On the first floor you will find 3 spacious bedrooms: king-size second master with bath; a queen with shared bath; and a bunk room with built in custom Queen over Queen bunk beds, as well as a laundry with full size washer/dryer and ironing board/iron are available.
On the second floor (main level) is the master bedroom, that features a king-size bed with sitting room. The attached bath features a jetted tub and separate shower.
The living room, a half bath and kitchen/dining room complete the second floor.
The living area is open and spacious, easily accommodating your family and friends. There is a 60" TV and high-speed wireless internet throughout the cottage.
Your options are endless. Spend your days on the infamous sugar sand beaches just 50 yards away. We'll provide beach service (two beach chairs and an umbrella) during your stay (March 1 through October), you can take a dip in the 3,000 square foot, heated (seasonally) pool with a hot tub attached or workout in the private fitness center. All just steps away from the house. After the pool or beach, you can relax on the 2nd floor balcony where there is a bistro table with seating for 4 or lounge in the Adirondack chairs while you enjoy your favorite drink.

Should you wish to explore what the local area has to offer, you'll find an abundance of choices. Sidewalks line scenic 98 for walking, running or bike riding. We are a short 2-mile drive to the Silver Sands mall to the West, or luxury shopping at Destin Commons to the East. Kenny D's, The Crab Trap, and Pompano Joe's are all within walking distance to The Cayenne Cottage. We encourage you to leave menus of your favorite restaurants when you come.
For evening entertainment, Destin is known for some wonderfully upscale eateries, as well as your regular fare. Friendly night life and nearby state of the art movie theater.
The Silver Sands Outlet Mall is a vacation in its own right for shoppers you will have access to over 100 stores, including, Polo, Ralph Lauren, Banana Republic, Brooks Brothers, Eddie Bauer, Liz Claiborne, Tommy Hilfiger, Lenox, Nike and Reebok - just to name a few. When you need to pause for nourishment choose from Panera Bread, Cheeseburger in Paradise or Carrabba's Italian Grill.
More great shopping can be found at the Destin Commons outdoor mall. Management team was quick to respond to all communication. We loved the location of this property and have stayed in this community more than once - it’s a quick walk to the beach, and the heated pool is always fun for the kids as well! We will be back!

We had an amazing time!!! The house was perfect for our families needs and a really nice distance from the beach!!

Location is great and the main reason we choose this property. Home is beautiful but was not as described when we booked. Home went through a renovation after we booked. Sleeping was different configuration with full beds instead of twins which forced people to share that should not have had to. Washer and ice maker (had to purchase bagged ice) did not work properly. We had to send out laundry as we were staying there for baseball and uniforms needed washing daily. Some people packed light thinking they would be able to wash and rewear clothing. Lights and some outlets did not work.With the renovations done the pots and pans would not work on new cooktop (these were replaced later). This forced us to eat out and spend extra money we had not budgeted. Feeding 7 people was not cheap. Owners did refund 150.00, but this did not come close to covering the added expense for 1 meal and the laundry we had to sent out.We will not stay here again. I do trust all issues will be corrected and done properly, but we were misled and we were not given notice of changes or an opportunity, in advance, to make other arrangements.
