Alternatively, while away the hours at the villa, soaking in the infinity pool or enjoying a glass of wine as you take in the spectacular sea views over Skorpios Island, Lefkada and mainland Greece. Villa Book: The Villa Book is on the coffee table in the living room Driving instructions from Vathy Port to Casa Di Maura - approximately 10 minutes Please take care driving these roads and watch out for local wandering sheep and goats. 1. After collecting your car from Vathy port, turn right and follow the road past the large church on the left-hand side. Keep following this road with the marina on your right-hand side. At the junction past the marina, keep following the road straight ahead and be careful on the tight bend next to the marina for oncoming cars. 2. Follow the road with the coastline on the right (4.2km). You will pass a harbour the road then forks, take the left-hand road up the hill. Follow it until you go up a hill with a wooden bus shelter on the right-hand side(0.7km), STOP here and be careful as the traffic comes up the hill and down from Spartochori (The road down from Spartochori is a one-way system). Go down the hill on the right and follow the road around Spilia port. (This is where the car ferry goes from to Nidri, Lefkada) 3. Continue on the road past the port leading up a steady hill, you will get to a turning on the right (0.7km), follow the road up the hill to the LEFT (0.5km). You will reach a T junction on the outskirts of Spartochori village with a bus shelter in front of you, turn RIGHT. 4. You will immediately see a large car park on the right-hand side, PARK HERE and walk down the road which enters the village on the LEFT. Follow the road until it forks either side of a white house with blue shutters and colorful flowers, turn LEFT here and Casa Di Maura is 40m down the lane on the left.
