The Architecture Is A Perfect Example Of The Beauty In A Typical Ionian Style

Everything about this villa was perfect for my husband and I, we had the highest one in Nema 1 with fantastic views of the sea and mainland coast in the distance. A continuous stream of yachts and boats of all size and type past along the coast below us which kept us entertained! A car is definitely required as even the closest beach/bar is a hike in the heat. Vathy is lovely and quiet with nice restaurants to choose from and along the waters edge along the waters edge on the opposite side of most of the restaurants we found a lovely cafe for morning coffee and homemade cakes. Regarding the car make sure it is a small one as some of the roads in the villages are very tight!! We were in touch with Efi a lot leading up to the holiday who answered all our questions and met with Maria her mum at the start and end of our stay. Don’t think twice about contacting them they are very helpful even when we locked ourselves out on the first night!! Overall a great place to stay and we will definitely be returning.

We had a wonderful week in Meganisi. The villa was perfect for our family of 4 (kids aged 7&11). The property was immaculate, very clean, simple but everything worked well. The air conditioning was strong and very welcome in the August heat! The rooms were of a good size with a beautifully large terrace next to the pool. Just a couple of points…there weren’t many plug sockets in the kitchen so needed to do a bit juggling for appliances. The bathrooms were a little dark relying on an over mirror light - could maybe have done with a spotlight or two. The pool was clean but think the chlorine started turning our swimsuits a bit green (maybe a chlorine, suncream, sunlight combo?). The position of the villa was good & very peaceful and within easy reach (5-15 minutes) of most beaches, some beautiful coves both organised & more wild. All the food we found was good value and fresh. Easy access to small mini marts with friendly staff - especially in Katomeri. The roads are difficult and you need to take care driving, narrow roads, going through Katomeri was always a heart in mouth moment! The major plus factors to the villa was the warm welcome from Efi and her Mother! Communication beforehand was easy (we had a flight delay & needed to adjust our arrival time). Nothing was too much bother for them (they even delivered back my son’s sunglasses that he accidentally left at a restaurant one night! The lady that cleaned came by and washed our clothes magically returning very quickly!

Perfect in everyway. Great house and island. Efi and her mother could not have been more helpful. Pool was magical. Very comfortable.

Our family had a wonderful 7 day stay. Immaculate villa with everything we needed, a fantastic pool and amazing views. Very quiet and relaxing. Communication with the villa owner was very easy, very prompt responses to all our questions and met us at the villa to show us around. Would fully recommend, thank you!
