Riad Kitula

The riad is absolutely beautiful and very pleasant. The pool is large, the rooms are spacious, and the breakfast is incredibly generous, delicious, and authentic. However, what I will remember most and what truly made my stay exceptional is the staff: Ayoub, Oussama, Mustafa, and Samir. They were extraordinarily kind, caring, welcoming, friendly, and genuinely wonderful. They went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable throughout our entire stay and paid attention to every detail. As a Moroccan myself, I can confidently say that they perfectly embody the warmth, generosity, and hospitality that Moroccans are known for. I have never had such a perfect hotel experience anywhere else, and it is entirely thanks to them. I will definitely return to this riad on my next visit, not only because of the beautiful property, but also because I would love to see them again. Thank you for making this stay so memorable. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

The only minor point I would mention is that the bathroom in our room felt a little small. As a suggestion rather than a criticism, I think a few additional touches could make the experience even more special: liquid soap in the bathroom, more Moroccan-inspired amenities such as orange blossom-scented products or diffusers, and slippers in the room. These are simply small extras that could further enhance an already wonderful stay. Overall, our experience was absolutely perfect, and this did not affect our enjoyment in any way.

The staff were nice. Ayoub was very efficient and accommodating. The location was central. It was near the markets/establishments. You just need to figure out maze-like streets.

The mosquitoes

Gorgeous garden far more grown in than these pictures. The cute lady spends her day making sure the garden floor and chairs are free of any leaves. Endless sweeping. She was the best. The Riad staff were the most helpful and anticipatory we met in our two weeks in Morocco. Hearing the birds through our windows was a joy. Beds were comfy not too hard or soft.

A couple ‘even better if’s’: Wanted a couple hooks in bathroom to hang towels or your clothes as you get in and out of shower. Wanted a little soap dish at sink. So really, there was nothing we didn’t like! 🙂

The overall design and spirit of Kitula is wonderfully thought through. The staff was very friendly and attentive. Kitula is very centrally located and a few footsteps away from the souks.

The room did not feel clean (dirty carpets) mold around the bathtub, everything a bit run down. The bathroom had a cupboard which opened up into a private messy wardrobe. The manager did not want to call me a cab because it apparently it was not part of the service. Upon request he organized a lovely man to help me with my luggage to the car, as it is a few hundred metres up to the Main Street, but it felt like I really had to push for it.
