The Shim Anam 3rooms late check in-out

The apartment was very clean, it was very spacious which is great if you have some larger suitcases. It has a kitchen with a hob which is perfect if you want to make some of your own food. It has good air con which was very much needed as we were staying in Seoul during a very hot period. The host sent details of how to get to the apartment, and kindly sent us some Korean sweets to try during our stay.

The entrance to the property needs some work, and the stairs to the apartment is not ideal with big suitcases. Our biggest gripe with this apartment was the lack of black out blinds, the room was so bright in the morning it really impacted our sleep. The apartment is made out to be slightly more luxurious than it actually is, it’s a fine apartment, but I feel the images on Booking.com are a little misleading. Finally, I received a lot of messages from the host reminding me to put out bins etc. during our stay which is not really what you want to receive when you are on a trip.

We had a family (5 of us) vacation in Seoul, Korea. We loved the apartment, it was quiet, bright during the day and cozy at night. We also loved the unmanned ice cream store downstairs. We met the owner when we were leaving and she was genuinely a nice person.

Great location, many food options and shops nearby, walking distance to kyochon chicken, korean BBQ, and Olive Young. 10 minutes easy walk to Anam station. Very clean and very comfy apartment. Love it, will come again.
