Shower head holder/bracket in the bathroom was broken, so we couldn’t adjust the height of the shower head

Location was easy walking distance to the coast
Process. I sorted on “Hotels”. This is not a hotel. 400€ deposit…they told me this is standard. I have been traveling in France for 3 weeks and the world for 30 years…It is not standard…first time I ever experienced. When I requested a checkout inspection to ensure I was not charged, they refused. The loft bedroom is barely a meter high ceiling…cannot even make live up there. They did not even have a cork screw…this France!! How do I open a bottle of wine!
