Casa Carlota

A cozy apartment and a very responsive host, who is always available to answer all questions. The location is fine, a small residential area outside Hermigua, central to go around La Gomera. We appreciated a lot the tumbler , it is quite difficult to get clothes dry in those days ( a lot of rain). It was warm too. Bathroom is ok, the place was very clean. AT night we could sleep very quietly with windows open ( just some barking dogs in the morning and some roosters). To reach the main sleeping room you have to pass through the second sleeping room, which means in my opinion a no go for 4 adults. I must say the the whole experience was good, especially for the value. In the kitchen there were enough items, a toaster and a water kettle. Outside there were 2 sun beds ,a clothes rag and a shower. Very detailed descriptions hanging everywhere and sweet touches everywhere ( soap dispenser, small decors around, a lot of switches. We had some issues with internet, disconnecting several times, but otherwise seems to be quite quick.

the entrance and parking situation are not the best ones: we parked in front of the small entrance gate , on the road, but just because we had a small car. Otherwise you have to look around, but streets are narrow and the most spots are taken, is not that easy. There are many stairs leading to the apartment , we came with a big trolley ( we have been traveling for 2 months ) and we struggled to get everything to the unit, the staircase is very narrow and partially covered by growing plants. The kitchen is of a poor choice, absolutely ok for the couple of days, in my opinion not suitable for a longer staying if you like cooking and need some room. Honestly I would think of a better solution, a bigger one with hanging cupboards , it would be easier to access items and would had many points to the cozy unit.

Sehr gute ruhige Lage. Alles vorhanden, was man braucht.Auch ohne Auto gut zu erreichen, Bushaltestelle in der Nähe. Wir würden es jederzeit wieder mieten.

Mehr Geschirrtücher wären gut.

le chauffage ( on a eu froid), la pièce principale est sombre, l'accès n'est pas facile et même un peu dangereux. On a garé notre voiture assez loin
