The quiet location, beautiful views and the lodge was decorated and designed brilliantly. It also had everything you would need for a self catering holiday.

The site itself is very well maintained and pretty. The lodge was in excellent condition along with all of the facilities. Everything worked as it should, including all the appliances. The rooms were nicely furnished and comfortable. Holidaying with a teenager means that decent WiFi becomes essential. We were not disappointed. Overall it exceeded my expectations.
There wasn't a single thing that I did not like. The location is at the top of the lakes, so it is about an hours drive to peaks such as Scarfell. However, it is also only 20 minutes from Keswick and its facilities, which I found very handy.

It was very modern, clean and had all the facilities that we needed including a full equipped kitchen two bathrooms and a separate laundry
