Three bedrooms new laneway house near public transit

Great location for us as we were visiting a family member, who lives locally. The property is relatively new and has 3 comfortable bedrooms which was ideal for our party of 4. The appliances were modern and efficient. While the property is in the suburbs, it is very adjacent to East 49th street (less than 5 mins walk) which has a fantastic bus service to Metrotown, for grocery and shopping supplies. The Skytrain from Metrotown takes 25 mins to downtown Vancouver. There are also two smaller shopping areas within 10 mins walk, for shopping and food. There was great communication from our host and all questions were quickly answered.

Nothing to speak of. The house was perfect for us.

Loved the house. It was in a great area close to the bus stops and a shopping area. Perfect for a family of 4.

We stayed at the end of summer and it was really hot inside. Being on a lane way it was a little noisy at night.

Nothing with the house at all! We highly recommend. I noticed that somehow Booking.com auto-charged my business card instead of my personal card for this booking…. Not sure how that happened!

The property was not far from some of the iconic places near Vancouver like Capilano Suspension Bridge or Grouse Mountain. Also the area was very quiet. The owner was responsive.

The promised outside street parking was very difficult to find. We had to park on the same street but much further from the property. Main bathroom shower and bathtub were dirty. Downstairs sofa bed very small and uncomfortable. The TV set outdated. One of the photos on the advertisement is showing gated paved area near the house, where you can easily park the car (actually there is a car park there), but unfortunately area is blocked by rubbish bins and all kinds of scrap! One last thing. The owner was not a very nice man, as I met him while taking the rubbish out. Didn’t even acknowledge a Good Morning.
