I wish I had stayed elsewhere

The location overall offered proximity to restaurants ad nearby beach

Look elsewhere if you were hoping to find a great place with a pool, great amenities that is well maintained. Here are a few issues we faced: 1. One of the toilets broke down (clearly not for the first time) and while the owner said the plumber was unavailable, he said he would come to check on it - but never did. 2. The shower hose needs replacement and there’s more water coming out of the holes in the hose than from the shower head. BTW the rainfall shower head sprays everywhere. 3. It is great to see the place allows pets, but when those pets are left loose and pee next to the pool, well you can imagine the rest. 4. Lastly, the lights in the second shower have their own terms for when to turn on. You may sometimes find you have to battle with them to make any of the two work. Communication with the owner Boris was relatively speedy, but the maintenance was far from it. I hate to criticise but I would urge others to consider what they are hoping to find and make their own choices knowing the facts.

Quiet, private, and comfortable retreat. Good beach choices and plenty of good food.

This place is roomy! The beds were very comfortable. The bathrooms were large. The air conditioning very effective, and needed. We found a fantastic French Bakery a couple of blocks away, along with an excellent coffee shop. Coming into the neighborhood is a very modern laundry, inexpensive and effective, you don't even need to lift a finger, just enjoy a coffee and pastry while the ladies take care of you. Plenty of beaches to choose from, along with restaurants and a really good ice creamery. Don't miss Zicatale brewery. Over all we were delighted with the apartment. No question, we would return.

Maybe we're picky. We would have liked it if the kitchen area was a bit cleaner. Surfaces were in places a bit sticky. A quick wipe with a soapy sponge took care of that. Otherwise, no complaints to speak of.

Great place!

This property is in a nice quiet area close to Angelito and Carizalillo. It’s further away from Zicatela and the vibe there but that is what we wanted. It was clean, comfortable and the a/c worked great. We were in the water suite right by the floor on the first floor and loved it. I could sit and work while the kids swam and still keep an eye on them. Would definitely stay again if we planned on coming back to Puerto Escondido, which we absolutely do NOT because it is not our vibe at all. Very dusty and dirty compared to other places we have been.

The only thing was hot water wasn’t always available, but we made due anyways:) Also the hosts aren’t super responsive but thankfully we didn’t really need anything.

Las camas, son amplias y muy cómodas. El departamento está bien equipado. Tiene dos baños El personal de limpieza es súper amable Tiene lavandería

Te cobran 1000 pesos por perro ingresado. El estacionamiento es en la calle El departamento no estaba limpio La comunicación con el anfitrión es deficiente y no es muy amable. Las instrucciones están en inglés, cuando deberían ser en ambos idiomas. Entras a las 4 y sales a las 11 no te da mucho margen de tiempo.
