Laketown Wharf 1226 -2BD+Bunks, Amazing Gulf Views

This was an amazing stay! Definitely worth it and a great deal for the location! Although not being exactly shoreside, you still have an amazing view of the ocean across the street with ocean view, which ours had. Open and spacious living room/kitchen. Which comfortably held 2 adults. Amazing master bedroom with nice bathroom. Bunk beds and then another bedroom and bathroom. The location is amazing for young adults (my group was between 21-23) right by the pineapple Willy’s, with private beach access. I’ve been to PCB 3 times, this has been the best experience by far.

It seems like the staff on site are not in tune with bookings. Which I guess makes sense since they are owned condos and not just a “resort”. We only had 4 wristbands at first (needed 8), but the front desk was unable to do anything. Every problem they said “contact host”. Which ended up being okay because we had an attentive host. Larry definitely made sure any issues were solved promptly. Only other issue we had was a dirty ice machine in fridge door, easy fix.

I loved the views of the ocean! It was really comfy and clean. I also enjoyed being on the 12th floor. It was quiet.

The elevators are slow as they are often full which results in really long wait times.

The apartment was spacious and comfortable, had a great view, was within walking distance from beach and pineapple Willis, has 2 pools 1 on the ground floor and 1 on the 10th floor which were both kept VERY clean. The gym was very organized and clean as well which we appreciated. The hotel staff was helpful and the owner or whoever I was chatting with through the booking.com chat was Always super helpful and nice!

The elevators. It took FOREVER to get into 1. It came down to the point where even if it was going the opposite way we crammed inside just so we were at least in when it did go the other direction. But thats more of the resorts fault not the apartment owners. The only thing about our apartment was the carpet. It wasn't clean at all , my sons feet would turn black when he crawled on it and so did any of his light colored clothing. So I just wished the owners would have their carpet cleaned at least once or twice a month to prevent it from getting so filthy. I would definitely stay here again if they fixed the elevator situation by either adding another one or making the current ones bigger or just having it programmed differently. Instead of it stopping on every single floor even thou its full. It could also be cool it had a weight system or something in it to where it knows when its at capacity and or full.

Great views, good sized appliances, elevators were great just don’t use the ones closest to the parking deck, pools were amazing, cleaners were exceptionally nice and respectful.

Door code didn’t work, had to get the key every single time which was hard to do with hands full and kids ready to get inside. Bed is extremely worn— which I expect but not this bad. Guest bed feels like straight springs. Hosts told us we could check in a couple hours early, but didn’t relay the message to the cleaners. Weren’t even able to check in by 4. Only one remote for 2 TVs, not ideal for in the middle of the night.
