Hostal Gracia is a true gem. Well priced for what it is, comfortable, just enough space for two even if you're staying for a couple of weeks. The balcony was a highlight for us, we are travelling on a budget so to have somewhere in the heart of things where we can enjoy a bottle of cava from the supermarket was an absolute delight. Very comfortable bed, Good facilities, cleaned just the right amount (good respect of privacy we never once had an awkward moment even when we had a sleep in). Difficult to beat the location, 5 minutes walk from Diagonal station, 2 supermarkets over the road, multiple food options of every price point nearby. Easy clear communication from the manager on how to access the room. If we are ever in Barcelona again (which im sure we will be!) we would definitely choose to stay here again if available. I did see the criticism before staying about the stairs. For us the stairs were not an issue. We have stayed in many historic buildings and it is to be expected that stairs will be steep and/or narrow. Adjust your expectations or travel lighter. You do not need an XXL suitcase for a 2 week trip in Europe.

La terraza era muy bonita. La ducha bastante amplia.

La cama era incómoda, las almohadas también.
