It was a little tricky to return the keys and get through the gate when leaving, but the host helped me figure it out.

IT Soggiorno fantastico sotto ogni punto di vista! Brian è stato un host eccezionale: super disponibile e gentile fin dal primo momento. È addirittura venuto in aeroporto per consegnarci le chiavi dell’appartamento e spiegarci in modo dettagliato dove si trovasse l’abitazione e come raggiungerla. Durante tutto il soggiorno è stato sempre presente, ogni giorno, fornendoci tantissimi consigli utili su cosa vedere e fare in città. L’appartamento ha una posizione davvero ottima: pulitissimo, molto confortevole e ideale per visitare la città. Si trova a soli 5–10 minuti a piedi dal quartiere di Temple Bar ed è affacciato sul fiume Liffey, una zona comoda e piacevolissima. L’unico piccolo consiglio che mi sento di dare è quello di installare un unico rubinetto nel lavandino del bagno, dato che attualmente è separato tra acqua calda e fredda. In ogni caso è un dettaglio assolutamente gestibile e non incide minimamente sulla qualità del soggiorno. ENG. Fantastic stay in every way! Brian was an exceptional host: extremely helpful and kind from the very beginning. He even came to the airport to hand over the apartment keys and carefully explain where the accommodation was located and how to get there. Throughout our stay he was always available every day, giving us plenty of great tips on what to see and do in the city. The apartment has a truly excellent location: very clean, comfortable, and perfect for exploring the city. It is just a 5–10 minute walk from the Temple Bar area and is located right along the River Liffey, which makes the area both convenient and very pleasant. The only small suggestion I would make is to install a single mixer tap in the bathroom sink, as it is currently split between hot and cold water. However, this is a very minor detail, completely manageable, and does not affect the overall quality of the stay at all. Highly recommended — I would definitely stay here again!

The secure apartment block was near the Christmas market, Ferris wheel, supermarket and tram stop. Easy walking distance to the main shopping areas of Dublin and you could walk across to the other side of the city in about 30mins. It was indeed cosy on a December weekend. The bathroom had in part been renovated and the hot power shower was lovely. We were very kindly provided with some Nespresso capsules for the machine and some teabags. Fluffy towels and toilet roll were also provided. We didn't really cook but there was a small fridge freezer and a kettle too. The apartment is on the first floor but the shared areas are lovely and clean and warm and we felt very safe.

To be completely self sufficient a microwave would be very useful but we managed with the hob. I don't think I've ever rented accommodation without a TV but we managed with the WiFi and our phones while we rested in the evening after walking the city. This really would be a bonus improvement. The bed is a little awkward as it's alongside the window. If you're mobile it's fine but an older couple may find this tricky. The lounge and bedroom have air bricks which do let a lot of outside noise through. It's not a hugely busy road below but Dublin on a Christmas weekend saw some revellers, arguments and the pony drawn carriages so expect to be aware of the city, especially if you are a light sleeper.
