Amazing balcony and view

The balcony was amazing with a beautiful view. Bathrooms were well equipped. Kitchen was well equipped. Very comfortable apartment.

The 141 stairs. It would have been nice to have some coffee pods supplied until we found some on our own. We couldn't find pods to fit the coffee maker. The moka was tiny. So we bought our own moka. The reason no pods were provided -We were told by the host that no food or drink could be in the apartment when guests arrived. The cupboard did have drink stuff and olive oil.

Beautiful location and view with some minor issues

The apartment has a stunning view of Lerici and the water. It's really spectacular - especially from the large balcony accessible from the living and bedrooms. The apartment itself is very nice with a couple of quirks that detracted only slightly from the experience. The location is convenient to the central part of the town and the marina as long as you are fit. The host met us at a local gas station and guided us to the apartment parking spot, which was very much necessary because we never would have found it otherwise. It is an adventure to access the spot in a rental SUV - tight squeezes and steep slopes. The hosts kindly allowed us to stay parked in the spot past the checkout time in order to have a final breakfast in town. Last, we really enjoyed the atmosphere in Lerici itself. It is beautiful, has great food, friendly people, and (at least in October) is very relaxing and pleasant. We regretted our decision to spend a day in two of the towns in Cinque Terra because they were disappointing in almost every way that Lerici was not. Highly recommended.

We loved almost everything about the apartment. The small issues we had were trivial but irritating in the moment. First, the coffee maker is an off-brand single-cup espresso maker, and we could not figure out which pods to buy. We tried two different (incorrect) variants before giving up and using the moka pot instead. Second, water from the shower in one of the bathrooms leaks out on the floor. A lot. We couldn't discover the secret to avoiding floods and instead just used the second bathroom, which was fine. Suffice to say that we learned why a mop and bucket were prominently placed in the service room. Third, the beds were uncomfortable and the number of pillows provided (one per) made sleeping more of a challenge for these older folks and our various issues than it could have been. Again, all small-ish problems but they added up enough to take the shine off of what otherwise would have been a stellar experience.
