It was ok for a couple of nights.

The size for a family to stay in one building. Kitchen had plenty of utensils, pans etc. Bathrooms were new. Shop very near. Heating system worked well.

The state of the building. Not a good approach the door could do with a coat of paint, very bad repair. So much work still needs doing indoors. Had to wash glasses up as dirty. Net curtains do not cover window there is no ordinary curtains at windows. Found two cards and a dolls bottle on the floor so do not think it had been thoroughly clean. Only one parking space at the property the rest are top of Lane hopefully not full when you need to park. Only comfy seats for 4 people rest was on ordinary chairs.

Glasses, cutlery, plates and mugs were not well washed, so had to wash everything before using. Oven dirty but we brought foil to put down inside. Recommend bring a table cloth along as the table isn’t clean. Have to pay extra for a 3pm check in and 11pm check out. Price for similar period next year is £170 more

Perfect place to hang with friends

Had a fantastic stay in this unique and quirky property. It’s a perfect place to relax and hang out with friends. Played games, sat in the sauna and enjoyed a bbq and it is very close to places to visit. Comfortable and everything we needed available.

Lovely two family weekend in a unique and functional space

The property is a converted church and as a result is very unique. It is described as a project but it is mostly finished (Better than I thought it would be) and has everything our two families needed. The living space is large and open plan and the kitchen is fully equipped. The garden wraps around the building which was perfect for our young children. The village is quiet and safe. Some of the art is unusual but does provide a talking point and character. The property really is perfect for a large family or two small families to spend time together and I would definitely recommend.

Unique and fabulous space with a drum kit in the living room and a garden full of graves

Loved the uniqueness of the place - loved the musical instruments, the big table for dining and table top games (and graffiti), and the quirky combination of original features, modern fittings and slightly bonkers art that made it impossible to feel bored even when doing nothing much. We picked a particularly cold few days in February so it was good that the radiators in the bedrooms were really effective (and easy to adjust for each occupant's preference) and the heaters in the living space worked remarkably well too.

We couldn't get the sauna to heat up enough but judging by the number of positive reviews mentioning how much it was enjoyed, I think that might just have been us not figuring it out properly. Not a big deal but no details were provided about what to put in the recycling bin, which was surprising because information and communication about everything else before and during the stay was really good! I looked it up on the web but it might be useful to have the info on/near the kitchen bins as different councils have different rules about what you can and can't put in the recycling.

This is a very special and lovable place to stay

We loved this amazing house! The owners have done an incredible job transforming the huge space into a welcoming, relaxing and very fun place to stay. Our kids enjoyed the piano and drums (a little too fully at times) and the sense of space from the double height ceilings was awesome. Brendan was fantastic at the comms and very responsive despite our last minute booking and being on holiday himself. We are keen to return with friends/family and also to try out the sauna and pizza oven next time!

Given it was the middle of winter it was a little cold at times due to the enormous open space to heat, though the ceiling heaters worked impressively and the bedroom radiators were great at making the rooms for sleeping toasty and warm.
