The host was extremely helpful, and communication was always easy and pleasant. The apartment is in an excellent central location. It is only a 5-minute walk to the Cathedral and about a 10-minute walk to the Uffizi Gallery. The apartment was clean, and the beds were comfortable. We stayed for four days and found everything we needed for a comfortable stay. I would be happy to stay here again when I return to Florence.

Convenient to walk almost everywhere we wanted to go. It was clean and well supplied. Christian was wonderful to work with, helpful with recommendations and accessible for any questions.

Quite noisy late at night, both from residents and rowdies in the streets. I’d stay again, but with white noise as AirPods didn’t drown out the loud voices and door slamming. Rare to have quiet to sleep before 2am, but not unusual for city life in Italy.

The host was pretty responsive when we ask for help. Was pleasant. The lift was a plus. (55 steps to the door of unit from street level) The host left bottle of wine and water in fridge for us. The beds were memory foam and very comfortable. The cafe next door was amazing for breakfast. The location was great. Could walk to all main sights easily.

The taxi driver couldn't find the unit. It is not easily marked. We only found the unit by walking up and down the street and looking at the Booking.com photo of the front door. The host asked us to message him when we arrived and he would meet us at the unit but we could not reach him by phone or text and the booking.com site was not responding so we had to wait in a cafe down the street until he finally called us back an hour later. The unit was on the third floor and very hot. The Window (portable) air conditioning units were only in bedrooms and weren't really adequate for the high 90 degree weather our entire stay. People need to know that you walk in the front door directly into a bedroom. So, the people in the 2nd bedroom have to walk through that bedroom to go in and out of unit. (awkward) The IKEA furnishings were a bit disappointing as it is an old historic building. For the cost per night, could spend a bit more on decor and furnishings. The hairdryer didn't work and there was no soap in the bathroom. Had to ask for them.
