Cozy Flat in South Kensington

The location is superb - right in the centre of London and the flat looks like it was renovated recently. Everything in the flat worked.

The check in was a bit tricky but the check out was worse. The owners of the flat told me to take the keys back to the lock-box in the sweet shop nearby and photograph the handover of the keys as proof, then send the photo to them. BUT THERE IS NO WAY TO DO THAT. They do not seem to have a working email address and no phone number was provided either. I am waiting for them to complain about the "lack" of photo so I can contact them.

The property was clean and tidy. Location was great and we really enjoyed our time in there.

The train noise was a bit disturbing except that everything was great

No breakfast offered or expected. There was a lift available and washing machine and dryer. We accidentally locked ourselves out however a solution was at hand to collect another nearby after our day trip with little fuss. Tube station nearby.

People upstairs sounded like they were moving furniture at all hours of the night. And the lift going up and down heard from the upper bedroom.

Location is fantastic stroll to the NHM, A&V, Science museum and Kensington Palace. Very good bus stop right out side, highly recommend the buses over the tube. Google maps makes it so easy.

The flat has the noisiest lift, it surely isn't right or safe there's a constant metal on metal scraping noise. The shaft is in the middle of the flat so all the noise spreads round the flat. That wouldn't be too bad if the lift was only used in waking hours, but god knows what upstairs is used for the lift is used about 10 times an hour between 1am and 3am. It's city centre so you expect city centre living noise but not that lift!!!!
