Riveria City KL Sentral by Sky Pool Minshuku

The room is clean, similar to an Airbnb with a little kitchen. Steamer and hair dryer were provided. TV works. The bed and towels are also pretty decent. The AC cools well. Bathroom is clean and well maintained. But the BEST PART WAS THE ROOFTOP. The view from there is SPECTACULAR. You can see the Petronas, Merdeka and Maybank all at once. Truly a mesmerizing site to see. There's also a pool on the rooftop although we didnt use it since it was cold.

The bathroom doesnt have a lock and the walls are frosted glass so slightly anxiety inducing. The water is not so hot it's mostly just warm at its best. The bathroom did flood when i first took a shower because theres an invisible silicone drain cover that we didnt notice at first. But the worst part would probably be the lift waiting time. You have to wait at least like a good ten minutes to catch a lift and sometimes it's full so you have to wait for the next one. Also we arrived before check in but there was no service for storing our luggage in ghe lobby. There was however a paid locker which seemed a bit overpriced for just a couple of hours. But overall its manageable. I think the rooftop makes it worth it.

Great little studio apartment with everything we needed. Loved the desk by the window and the kitchen was perfect with a large fridge. The bed was very comfortable. The rooftop pool was a real highlight

Only four lifts for the whole building meant sometimes there was a long wait. It was a little further from the centre than I would have liked but the compromise on cost was worth it.

There’s a pool, sauna and gym which i enjoyed. KL Sentral is not far (10 min walk, 5 min drive).

Reception at the building is for name sake, only the care taker can take any request, be it check in, check out or any other requirement, only during the day hours, I request for an additional towel, when I came back after a long meeting day, caretaker said it’s only available till 10pm, after that no request as the care taker is not available 24x7. It’s more like an Air BNB, under the umbrella of booking.com. Personal opinion, please book with Air BNB rather than going through with booking.com. It’s a super duper studio, very compact.
