Very relaxed and arty resort. This place is unique and personal.

Unique resort with reused building material. Very tastefully done. Arty. Very quiet location but still some restaurants around. Nice pool area. Beautiful views.

There was a bit of a sewage smell in the bathroom of my bungalow. Continuous ‘Yoga piano music’ playing in the communal spaces. The relaxed vibe is there already, no need to push it more.

Unique and memorable stay in natural surroundings

This is a very unique property. I loved the haphazard kooky design using repurposed materials and the feeling of being emersed in nature. The overgrown plants everywhere, the abundant bird life, the views from our second floor room out to the sea and the neighboring fields. I liked being able to fill our own bottles with purified water. We had a large comfortable room with giant tv with Netflix etc and a strong hot shower. The pool is lovely but we never used it ; we rented scooters from the hotel and explored all the beaches in the area everyday. We preferred the southern beaches which took about 20 min by scooter. There are some excellent restaurants just a 5 min scooter ride in either direction. 5 min north Sbay sbay (waterfront and massages too) is wonderful and 5 min south Yao Yai is excellent too. Also 2 very simple family restaurants you can walk too . The women who served us breakfast and cleaned were lovely as was the owner and the baker.

This property is not for everyone. It is eccentric. Expect more of an Airbnb type experience with communication mostly through what's app then typical hotel staff. Nice view of the sea from 2nd floor rooms but there is no beach. Do not expect a beach. Definitely need a scooter but the hotel provided one at a reasonable rate. We loved it but it took a day or two to get used to it . There are a number of abandoned buildings or buildings in progress. The look and feel is kind of industrial arty chic but wild not polished and surrounded by wild nature (which we liked). We were uncertain how to get there and a little more communication from the staff before we arrived would have been helpful. Our hotel in Krabi figured it out for us and helped us and called to arrange taxi. Also a little more info for guests on the area would be nice but we found our favorite beaches and restaurants on Google Maps.

Our stay was exceptional from start to finish. Everything from the location, villa, food and staff were nothing short of amazing. The local sea otter on site was a unique fun thing to experience! My daughter spent most of the time in the kitchen with the staff having fun and dancing to Thai music - they were so incredibly kind. Every time we sat down to eat they took her in their arms and showed her around the hotel, kitchen, feeding the koi fish. We truely felt so relaxed at this property. As the hotel backs onto a mini beach the views from the restaurant were so impressive particularly ideal for sundowners and early dinner.

What a bizarre place, the family has no idea what they’re doing

It was quirky, the buildings were cool and smartly decorated. Someone on the property loves gardening because you could see how much time and energy was put into the landscaping. The room was actually really nice except that it wasn’t especially clean (dusty, cobwebs) and the terrace which also clearly hadn’t been cleaned in a while was very bare with very uncomfortable seating. The coffee in the cafe was actually really good!

Oh boy where to start - the driver didn’t say a single word to us from pick up to drop off, twice. And never offered to help at all with bags. When we arrived we were helped by two 20-somethings and we asked if they had a restaurant and one of them said yes and one said no (?) and they said there’s a cafe in reception so we asked how late it was open and they said there’s no set time, they close when they feel like it (?) so we were hungry and since they don’t have food we needed to go somewhere and so we asked about scooters and they said they could have them for us in 2 hours (!) and there’s nothing near the property. Just so many opportunities to improve our experience and we’d only been there 10 minutes! It’s in the middle of the island which is good for exploring but if I went back to KYY I would just choose North or South, be being in the middle we were just (equally) far from everything. The property itself could be so cool but it’s only half open so you feel like you’re in a horror movie. There are only 6 pool chairs and they’re in terrible condition and no cushions, the pool area covered in weeds, there’s a pool bar/cafe that’s not up and running, and the main building where they serve breakfast could be an amazing bar/restaurant with events and music and people would come from all over the island but again a wasted opportunity. Watch out for the mosquitos as well, the whole property is basically built on a marshland. I was so excited to stay here but what a disappointing experience and a wasted opportunity for a unique accommodation.

Sehr abgelegen, keine Aufzüge (falls man älter ist eventuell relevant), die Sicht auf den Strand war trotz dem teureren Zimmer eher mau.

Der Pool könnte etwas schöner sein und häufiger gereinigt werden, mehr Abwechslung beim Frühstück wäre ein Bonus aber kein Muss.

Toll gebaute Unterkunft. Mal was ganz anderes. Viele Pflanzen und den Blick zum Detail. Der Bungalow war sagenhaft ausgestattet und sehr sauber. Personal war freundlich und hilfsbereit.

Der Strand ist kein Strand zum Baden eher wie ein kleiner Bodden der etwas verschlammt‘ ob mit Wasser oder ohne.

La beauté de l'île

Je ne comprends pas du tout la note de cet établissement qui m'a influencée et je suis complètement d'accord avec l'avis de Laurens qui a été malheureusement posté après ma réservation. Pour 3000bath la nuit, on s'attend à un certain niveau de service et de confort en Thaïlande. Je n'ai jamais vu ça en 30ans de voyage, dont plusieurs fois dans ce beau pays. Mauvais nom sur la pancarte en arrivant (c'est un détail par rapport à ce qui suit mais qui montre bien le manque de professionnalisme), transfert dans une voiture immonde de saleté, accueil minimaliste, aucune explication donnée sur le resort, le fonctionnement et les infrastructures, des lieux communs envahis par la végétation, par la saleté et les toiles d'araignées, pas d'eau chaude dans la douche, une terrasse délabrée qui menace de s'effondrer, des rideaux déchirés, des vitres cassées, un personnel peu accueillant, des bungalows complètement à l'abandon, 4 transats délabrés à la piscine, un service en chambre réduit au simple changement de serviettes et vidage des poubelles, une facture de fin de séjour erronée..... Si vous décidez d'y aller quand même, demandez impérativement les quelques bungalows rénovés près de la piscine qui sont corrects et ont une belle vue. Une honte de commercialiser un tel établissement. Nous avons vraiment l'impression de nous être fait avoir.

La piscine est vraiment superbe

Nous avons loué un scooter qui n'a pas été vérifié, après 5 km le pneu est sortie de la jante, nous avons faillit tomber, on a informé l'hôtel le lendemain il fallut demander à faire vérifier le scooter sinon personne n'y avait pensé au paiement aucune remise, c'est plus que moyen comme prestation pour le prix et pareil pour l'hôtel cher pour ce que c'est à la part la piscine.

Exceptionnel !

Nous avons adoré notre séjour. Le lieu est comme mystique ou abandonné mais tout a été très bien réfléchi, toute cette végétation est magnifique. La chambre dans laquelle nous étions était grande, spacieuse, avec une très bonne literie. La vue sur la mer devant était magnifique également et la piscine est un vrai plus. Nous avons aussi été très bien accueillis.

Super séjour, à refaire.

Je recommande, merci beaucoup pour ce séjour. C’est un endroit incroyable, en front de mer, piscine au - 20m de long, chambre/appartement spacieux, extrêmement confortable, lit gigantesque. L’endroit en lui même est agréable au possible, la nature est magnifique, le personnel est tout aussi super, possibilité de kayak et autre sur place. Deux fois que je m’y rends et c’est à refaire.
