Nothing to complain about. Just a small note: a hook for towels in the bathroom.

Zeer mooi gelegen aan de rand van Funchal in het nieuwere deel. Alles wat je nodig hebt is aanwezig in het appartement. Het heerlijke zwembad, leuke restaurantjes en ontbijt gelegenheden op loopafstand. Vriendelijke host die veel tips geeft wat er te doen is. Prive parking op het terrein.

unfortunately, although the apartment location itself is stunning with great swimming pools and close proximity to everything, the owner was unresponsive in the lead up to the holiday, when I reached out multiple times regarding a potential serious medical emergency meaning that the doctor advised I may to be able to fly. This is incredibly rude, after taking the money from the booking, just to ignore the customer. Luckily the hospital signed me off fit to fly, I then messaged again out of courtesy to say I'd be able to keep my hotel booking and still no response. Although Mariana helped with great restaurant recommendations, the lock to the apartment was broken, key was getting jammed, no hot water one day in the morning due to boiler issue and also they 'forgot' to leave more toilet roll, although I messaged hours before in the day, leaving no toilet roll in evening, night and morning . Throughout the issues, no apology or accountability of good will gestures made, which would have made me less annoyed. Very rude and now that booking.com has reached out regarding a partial refund, we are being ignored.
