Great service from Mariana, our thanks to her for her attention and responsiveness. The apartment is very spacious, and does indeed have a very large terrace with lots of seating. Lovely to have coffee in the morning and look out over the pool. Large kitchen, basic kitchenware for making breakfast or a quick snack. The kitchen appliances are all in good working order and easy to use. Very firm mattresses for those that like firmness, with good quality linens and towels.

There were a few issues that arose - first, a strong electrical shock to one of our group members due to bare wires on a lamp plug. We alerted Mariana to the situation and left the lamp unplugged, hopefully to be replaced. Secondly, possibly due to previous water damage, neither the bedroom doors nor the bathroom doors seemed to close properly. It wasn't such a huge issue for us, as we were all friends, but if it was colleagues traveling together, I imagine they'd want doors that closed tightly. Lastly, the outdoor furnishings are all worn, with missing hardware making the seats sag, missing cushions, etc. All things that are easily fixed with limited spending. I have AL's in mainland Portugal, so I am probably hyper aware of these small things, as it's always things that I watch out for in my own properties. None of these small issues take away from the excellent location, great service from Mariana and overall good impression of this condo complex.

A spacious and comfortable apartment, with a well-equipped kitchen, everything you need. The balcony is large, with comfortable sofa and chairs, good dining table and with a wonderful outlook to the sea. The buildings are set in beautiful gardens. There is a good gym and the swimming pools are fabulous, especially the infinity pool. The location is great with large supermarket a few minutes away and bus stops right outside. A short walk downhill are several very good restaurants and access to the scenic promenade walk, with the Lido area in one direction and the Cabo Girao in the other. We particularly appreciated the good communication with the managers of the property on booking and throughout. On arrival, we were given a warm welcome by Mariana who was on hand via text to deal with any questions during our stay. She also checked in by text a few times to see if all was well, which was thoughtful. Having a good management team on hand is a real plus point for any apartment reservation in our experience. We had a lovely stay here, very relaxing, and hope to book this apartment again in future.

This apartment entirely met our expectations and was presented exactly as in the photos.

From arrival to the last day our host was amazing! Our flights were delayed coming into Madeira and leaving Madeira. Our host was there at three am to let us in and make sure that we are comfortable. The apartment was specious and open, with a large balcony overlooking the ocean and the pool area. My kids enjoyed using the pool and watching beautiful sunset by the pool. The grocery store across the street was great. Starting each morning on the balcony drinking a cup of coffee felt like a true vacation and a great start to a day. We had all the amenities that we needed, including a coffee machine. It was just like in the pictures. The beds were comfortable. Everything was modern and clean. We were able to get some snacks and light breakfast items with fruit. we also really enjoyed the Arts Forum Cafe nearby for breakfast. The apartment is located 10 minutes easy drive to center of Funchal. We rented a car, and the apartment provided a parking spot. We got some great recommendations from the host on restaurants and activities to do.
