Eton House

Room was small but perfect for a 2 night stay. Tea making facilities and a coffee pod machine (with pods) was a nice touch as was the very well finished wet room. Easy to communicate with the hotel, very responsive to questions and the instructions about how to get keys etc clear and easy to understand. Would use again, thank you.

Overall the room was comfortable though a bit hot, can't to much sbout the weather. At least a fan was provided. There was an unpleasant smell on entering the room and the bathroom was quite musty. The shower tiles looked like they need a scrub but overall a decent bathroom.

There was visible mold in our room. The sheets were not Egyptian cotton as advertised—they were rough and unclean. We had to leave do the unsafe sanitary condition of the room. And we were not issued a refund.

Fantastic choice to stay in Yeovil, great walking distance into town centre as well as get location for local tourist attractions. Clean, secure and well presented property

Was a pleasant stay, shower was not working on arrival however the team notified me immediately and offered the use of a shower in an alternative room, very professional and followed up constantly on our comfort

The tv was fixed to wall half hidden by the clothes rack and to the right of the bed. Bathroom window had a huge crack in it. Windowsill in bathroom has dust/dirt...doesnt look cleaned for a while. The lounge cupboards had eaten biscuits and bottles of coke with a bbe date of 2019!!! Not clear on where.to wash pots other than asking us to wash them...in the bathroom sink?! Coffee machine didnt work properly. Broken glass in car park. Room too warm, no air con and cant open windows wide. Lovely place but definitely needs some care and attention. Lastly there two key lockers with no. 11 on which wasnt made clear to me and the original no.11 locker had the code which you had given me set! But the reaponse from the customer service team when trying to check in was excellent.

Should have received notification of how to access the property before we arrived. After using the What’s App chat nobody contacted me, tried ringing but they were not accepting calls!!. At the property a note was in the door with phone number for Genna, rang twice no answer just about to leave when I received a message with instructions in how to access property. You have to crouch down to put in access code and once in I had to kneel on the floor to open the lockbox for room key. Being more mature it was not easy crouching or kneeling. Was pleased with room till my partner used the shower, there is a rain shower head a handheld shower and 3 knobs, the main shower did not get hot and no pressure so used the handheld shower, not realising ever time it was put back into the holder it was spraying the closed bathroom door, the water came under the door wetting the carpet in the room, used towels to try and soak up the water. Eventually found top knob did main shower, middle knob heat of water and bottom was handheld shower. Not impressed. 2nd night we had people in the next room, we could hear their bathroom fan running, their TV and them talking, they were not shouting. It’s a shame the above spoilt potentially good accommodation. Will not return
