    The staff were excellent, the food was superb and great value for money, the room was very clean and fine for an overnight stay however the bed was too soft for our preference but we would stay here again.

    Only downside is stairs are steep to get to 1st floor. Room was great for an overnight stay, clean sheets, clean surfaces and clean fresh bathroom with powerful walk in shower.

    I was luck enough to stay here for 5 days and had a wonderful stay. The landlord, Pete was brilliant, so helpful and friendly, as were all the staff. Then there's the pub with a great selection of beers, including real ales, and the food is superb. The room was lovely and clean, the bed was very comfortable plus the power shower was great. There's also a kitchen sink and fridge in a small communal area which was very handy. A great location for me as I was attending an event at the Yeovil showground, which is only a 10 min stroll away. I also walked down the hill into the town which again is only a 10 min stroll. A perfect stay and home from home. Thank you.

    The stairs up to the room were very steep - not suitable for anyone with mobility issues. The room was very cold - despite informing the bar staff and being told that they had turned the heating on - it never came on.
