About the home

“Justice Beach” is a delightful single-storey family home in Cowes just a comfortable walk from the beach and short drive from all of the supermarkets, restaurants & cafés of Cowes. Some of the many features of this lovely home are detailed below:

Indoor Areas

The open plan Kitchen/Dining Room opens into the large Living Room (with smart TV & Bose sound system, please note the fireplace is not available) that in turn leads through stacker doors to the rear covered Alfresco. The central hallway provides access to Bedrooms 1, 2 and 3 (each with BIR), a Bathroom (with bath & shower), a fully equipped European Laundry (with washing machine) and a separate toilet.

The Bungalow (accessed via the rear Alfresco and Deck) has Bedroom 4 which has an ensuite (with shower & toilet).

Outdoor Areas

The huge rear covered Alfresco (with gas BBQ, bar fridge, 5-seater outdoor sofa, 8-seater dining table & 2-seater swing chair) overlooks the rear yard. Down three steps to the rear Deck which leads to the Bungalow and the rear yard which also features a firepit (wood not provided). There is parking for up to 3 vehicles (cars and/or a boat) in front of the house and in the driveway (the rear Garage is not for guest use). Please note: currently the spa is not functional and not in use.

Please note there are security camera's on the property - they do not view any private areas in the home.

Kitchen

The fully appointed kitchen is equipped with cooking utensils, crockery, cutlery, microwave, Nespresso pod coffee machine, toaster, kettle, air fryer, etc. plus a double sink, fridge (plus a bar fridge on the Alfresco), dishwasher, electric oven and gas cook top.

Heating/Cooling Systems

There are five wall mounted reverse cycle airconditioners in the home; one in the Living room and one in each of the four bedrooms, a ceiling fan in bedroom 1 and one in the covered Alfresco, a portable external gas heater on the Alfresco, plus one additional portable fan which can be used where required. Please note the fireplace is not available/operational.

Bedding Configuration

This home has 6 beds, accommodating up to 10 guests:

Bedroom 1: One Queen bed
Bedroom 2: One Queen bed
Bedroom 3: One Tri-bunk and one Single bed
Bedroom 4 (Bungalow): One Queen bed

Please note: The Tri-bunk has a double bed base with a single bed above it.

Linen

It is common in the region for some linen to be provided for bookings, and some linen to be available as an optional extra. By default, a booking at this home does not include optional linen (top & bottom sheets, bath towels and pillowcases). What is included are doonas (quilts) with covers, pillows without covers, tea towels, hand towels and bathmats. If you would like the optional linen included in your booking, please let us know, including which beds you would like it provided for. The additional cost would be a one-off charge of $30 per bed (some sites add a service fee to these costs) - and we prefer 7 days' notice prior to your arrival to get that arranged.

Peak Periods

Please note that during the peak summer period and other peak times, check in times are set as 3pm unless by prior arrangement. Please also note that if you avail of the optional linen hire over these times, it may involve linen being left out but beds not being made up.

Functions, Celebrations and Schoolies

Please note that the home is not suitable for celebrations, parties or large events. The home also does not take bookings over Schoolies. All bookings are subject to approval, pending Guest verification process - Local council restrictions are in place for this property and compliance is mandatory.

Ultimately the stay was lovely and me and my friends had a really good time. As mentioned within other reviews the cleanliness of this property isn’t ideal. The home is well furnished easy to relax within, the property is large and I can definitely see the outdoor spaces being well loved in good weather. Unfortunately when we got there it didn’t seem like any cleaners had been there before us as all the benches were very dirty, the top bunk was not made, the rubbish bins were partly full. Everything needed a really good wop
