About this house rental

Located in Ampuero, this welcoming vacation home brings it all within your reach. With convenient onsite parking, you'll be ready to make the 16-minute drive to Bay of Biscay or the 17-minute drive to Laredo Beach.

After you return to this 5382-sq-ft vacation home, you can unwind by the outdoor pool or sip a drink in the garden; you may also like the deck or patio and firepit. As for the great indoors, you can try your hand at foosball, or enjoy the free WiFi and TV.

This 7-bedroom, 7-bathroom rental features a dining area, a BBQ grill, a fireplace, and a desk. Bathroom amenities include a hair dryer, a bidet, and towels. We were four families and the house was very spacious. The swimming pool was a great size and the views to die for. Best part was the owner Jose, who looked after us really well and helped arrange a few bookings in the area. The only slight issue was that the house needs a little updating and the showers are not the best (took ages to get hot water)....all in all, a great stay and an amazing host. Thanks.

We had a great visit to Ampuero, staying in this beautiful villa for two weeks! The house, pool, garden, and views are even better in person than in the pictures. Plenty of bedrooms, bathrooms and living space for our party of 12. Huge, well-equipped kitchen. Big table to eat inside and big table by the pool to eat out when the weather is nice. Large living room, and even a playroom upstairs with foosball. Our crew loved the house (and especially the pool) so much we took fewer day trips than we expected because everyone was so happy hanging out in the pool, the house, and the beautiful and peaceful environs. The padel court was a big bonus, and we enjoyed watching the sheep, horses, and cows that roamed the fields surrounding the house. Our crew also enjoyed the short walk down the hill into lovely Ampuero. We went in often to get food at one of the four markets or one of the several bakeries or the fish place or the farmer’s market (on Saturday), or to get tapas or a drink, or just to stroll around. The owner, Jose, was very responsive to any needs we had and was a pleasure to talk with. Our favorite outings were driving/hiking to the cell tower visible from the house (amazing views!), the Guggenheim in Bilbao, and a Rioja trip. I should also note that while the house is not air conditioned, it is incredibly well designed to stay cool and was always comfortable throughout our stay (even the day it got up to 104F/40C in the shade). I wish we could have stayed longer!
