The front door was broken and we could not get it. They needed to send someone to fix it but had no time estimation. It was about an hour of back-and-forth texts and phone calls before the garage code was given, which allowed us access. When the repairman did come to fix the front door, it was the next day. He was very nice but told us he's been telling them this need to be repaired for a while, that it's only getting worse, and that he doesn't have the capability to fix it. So that was very frustrating to hear! The overall cleanliness was good, except for sand on the rugs, but it is by a beach so to be expected, and the dishes weren't particularly clean. That's because the dishwasher just doesn't do a good job. The house overall was quite comfortable, well equipped and a great location for our group of six that raced the Ironman 70.3 while visiting. Very relaxing outdoor area with deer wandering through, and the beds were comfortable. Overall, it just needs a little bit of love, but it's kind of what one would expect in a vacation rental. I would absolutely stay there again but do hope the front door issue is addressed before the next round of guests

We love Frankfort and everything that it has to offer. This house was a great addition to our stay. The backyard was perfect for a wide range of ages. The children used the fenced in backyard, swing set and ropes course for outdoor fun while the adults utilized the patios, and fireplace. The indoors provided enough space for three families to have their own space when needed. We hope to have the opportunity to stay here again.

The house layout and facilities were as described, number of beds and bedrooms as specified. I thought the linens provided were rough and low cost. The outside of the house look abandoned, waist high weeds and uncut lawn. The house seems to have been spruced up after someone else owned it, maybe? Unmentioned amenities like a fire pit and a long untended goldfish pond and stacks of firewood were an indication. Makes a bad impression and must irritate the neighbors with lack of visible care.
