Guests staying at a South Lake Tahoe rental must adhere to all City Ordinances. Quiet hours are from 10 p.m. to 9 a.m. In addition, no open flames, no smoking, and parking permits apply. Maximum occupancy cannot be exceeded under any circumstance. Fines of up to $2000 will be imposed by The City of South Lake Tahoe, without warning, for any violations.
Parking notes: There is free parking available for 2 vehicles.
Security camera details: Surveillance cameras are in use in the common areas only.
Dock details: Dock/pier is for sightseeing and to see the beautiful view of Lake Tahoe. No boat docking or boat tying of any kind is permitted. No fishing or diving off the dock is permitted.
Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit.

We’re regulars to Tahoe and stayed at this property (Lakeland village) for the first time. The location is great, bang in the middle of South Lake Tahoe. The beds and sheets were clean and comfortable. However, the rest of the house definitely needed more maintenance. - The carpet in the house was so dirty that all our socks would be dark brown by evening, just walking inside the cabin. - There is so much slippery ice at the entrance to the house, even though it hasn’t snowed in weeks. We were told snow and ice cleanup is handled by the HOA and not the property management company. Either way, it’s very easy to slip on the sleet due to bad management. - All the batteries in the house were almost dead - TV remotes work the first few times every day and then stop working, the thermostat had similar issues. Needless to say, we will not be staying at this property again.
