Stunning SanFran Casa close to Center and steps from Ocean

Schoon appartement met goede badkamer en zalige douche. Grote keuken ook.

Er was extreem veel herrie van verbouwing van de buren. De eigenaren doen wat ze hiermee kunnen, dat is heel fijn en goed. Alleen doordeweek blijft t vanaf ca 8.15u ‘s morgens extreem veel herrie. Wij verbleven tot 22aug en het ziet er niet naar uit dat ze snel klaar zullen zijn. Dus ik zou daardoor in de komende periode niet boeken. Verder was t wel wat verder vh centrum dan ik van te voren dacht. En was er voor 4 personen niet echt ee goed zitje/eettafel. De bedden lagen ook niet heel lekker en er is weinig daglicht (basement). Aan de eigenaren ligt het niet. Maar ik zou niet weer boeken.

We loved the location, a quiet and pretty neighbourhood close to the ocran. The place is very comfortable with even a lovely courtyard.

Clean and well equipped modern apartment, in a safe location on the outskirts of SF. A short 2 block (5 min) walk to the MUNI public transport which took about 30mins to SF centre.

Nothing major, however we booked the apartment as part of a 3+ week/10 stop trip to California. The key reasons we chose this apartment over a hotel was to do a laundry refresh, for ease of parking and a safe location. On arrival we found that Alex had a number of rules he applied and use of the washing machine was constrained for longer stays greater than our 4 nights .....we suggest the rulebook should really be published on Booking.com so that prospective future renters can review in advance. We used a self service launderette instead. Regarding the parking... it was fine, however the car had to be moved due to SF street cleaning on particular days, so we ended up having to park a couple of blocks away at one point. The location did indeed seem safe with the apartment being secured and accessed through the internal garage, with 2 key coded doors and a single outside patio door to an enclosed yard, with natural light into the bedroom end of the apartment.

The property was clean and modern. The host gave helpful transportation advice.

The host had many requests for us. He had a think book of rules and regulations for guests to study and follow. For example, he asked us to clean the shower drain after each shower. Another example, he asked us to leave our shoes outside the entry door and insisted that we wear sleepers which he gave us. The sleepers were not new and clearly had been used many times by other guests/people. We think that if it is important for the host that guests wear sleepers within the property, he should provide guests with new sleepers. Wearing someone else's old sleepers is not sanitary. To summarize, we did not fee much hospitality from the hosts. No welcoming water bottles. Paper towel roll had just a couple of sheets left. Same with tissue box. Bathroom towels were laundered but old and mismatched. The garbage can was not cleaned from previous guest.
